worst experience of my lifetime

we reached the hotel after long tiring drive from amherst MA(8-9 hours), we reached and the front desk told us they dont have room (i had already paid for it) it was raining and he asked me to find another hotel. then he told me he has single rooms (single queen/double bed) my son had a soccer game early morning (bethesda cup) and we wanted him to get some rest , finally we took the single room and asked for another single room , they only had a smoking room , we took that one but we could not bear it for more than 15 mins , then we asked him for any other room (non smoking) he then showed me a double room(the room i was supposed to get) which was not cleaned , i requested him to give that room , he changed the sheets and we finally slept at 2 am . the breakfast was a joke (the hotels should give more details on what kind of breakfast is served).

Room was supposed to be non smoking but the room smelt of smoke.. hotel rooms need updating.. I am not convinced that the bedding had been changed on move in? No maid services..

Very frustrating that they call it a breakfast they provide, no seating and a small desk with coffee is not a breakfast

Location: It was close to the wedding event i was there to attend.
The ck in time was late as in 3pm, Yet your check out time had to be at 11am. My card key took over 6 times before i was able open the door to my room. The place is also a residence for low income people that don't pay their rent on time. If i ever had to visit that area again I would not rent a room there.

BED BUG STAY

Was disappointed there was no coffee maker in room, had to ask for drinking cups, a pot to boil water for coffee & tea; room was equipped with stove top. Had to ask for sheets for sofa then I discovered bed bugs in sofa bed when I opened up sofa, closed it back and had to sleep on the unopened sofa very uncomfortable. I informed clerk when I checked out the next day of bed bugs in sofa. It would have been fine for a one or two night stay if I hadn’t discovered bed bugs.

I had to run around and load money on a reloadable card. I had cash. I was told i could pay cash. Luckily, Wal-Mart wasn't far. The young guy at the front needs customer service training. Other than that, a near perfect evening.

Poor service

Attendant gave me a bogus room number as I checked in really late in the day... When I went back to the front door Attendent would not answer the door... Was unable to stay in hotel and had to drive back home.

people were very nice had little hick up checking in but was solved with minor call and room was not well taken care of but not really major thing s besides the water (couldn't turn knob for hot water in kitchen) tub was pealing
