The staff and service at this Residence Inn could not have been more friendly or helpful. Very impressive! My main complaint was that the hide-a-bed was terribly uncomfortable. Probably the worse sofa bed I've ever slept on. Also please provide a complete sheet set rather than just a fitted sheet. But, if you don't need to make use of the extra bed, it is a very pleasant stay.

Great but outdated.
The staff was very friendly. The hotel was out of date but suitable for our needs. The breakfast was neat, clean, and tasty. If the hotel was updated, it was be 5 stars.

Doors were hard to open. A lot of guests kept their doors cracked because they were hard to get in and out of and made a lot of noise when you were able to get them open.

This was the worst Marriott I’ve stayed at. Very dated. Found a roach in the room (took a pic and told the front desk but nothing noticeable done). Limited breakfast options. Side doors were broken so we had to go around front to get in. Pool wasn’t open when I came so…

Confused Finding the Hotel Building
The staying and the breakfast were good except finding the Hotel Building was very complicated with google maps directions. It would have helped if The Residence Sign was on the actual Building.

Warmth.
Last Wednesday, we lost everything in a house fire. We found this hotel and stumbled in bleary eyed and in our only clothes. Karen G, at the front desk, was kind, understanding, and went out of her way to make sure we felt safe and comfortable. And when I broke down in tears, she held me in her arms with a warmth you’d never expect from a stranger. I hope someone sees this. I hope good things come to her. Thank you, Karen.

Amazing Staff
Although the facility was a but outdated and there were several small issues (Dirty kitchenware in cabinets to note just one), the staff made it an amazing stay. Any issues were addressed immediately and with kindness and care. Every staff member was friendly and welcoming. They all made us feel at home.

They overbooked the rooms and send us 15 miles away to another hotel at 10:30 pm after a long day of traveling. Didn’t communicate with us, to let us know they didn’t have any more rooms prior to our arrival. Then the person in the lobby gave us the wrong location to the hotel they moved us to, and we have to go back to get the correct address.

Not great
We’ve stayed at plenty of residence inns and this was probably the worst. The location is nice- great quiet neighborhood and felt safe. The train is literally right across the street and very loud if you’re a light sleeper. Also the hotel is very run down and needs multiple repairs and updates. It didn’t feel like a Marriott.

Hotel is needing repairs and general upkeep. Couch cushions torn with foam showing through, broken shades on light fixture, door to room wouldn’t close properly and was coming off hinges. Staff was very friendly.

Not the nicest place, but still welcoming
There were three tvs in the rooms, only two were connected which was ok because there were only two remotes. One of the bathrooms had a mismatched door handle, silver one side/brass the other, when I touched the knob the brass side fell off. One of the light shades was also broken. And there were smudges and visible dust/dirt buildup on some of the doors, walls, and trim. On the plus side, the sheets and bedding were very clean, the rooms were spacious, the double room had a living room and two bedrooms with their own bathrooms. Each room had a tv. The fireplace was a nice touch. The common areas were nice and the staff was extremely hospitable.
