Pros: convenient location , good price
Cons: bath towels,
Location: location is near to many things, mainly Gettysburg. Nice Italian restaurant we go to , The Italian Village is near by.
My friends and come down a few times a year to go to local events. We find this hotel a clean , no frills nice place to stay for the usual two nights we're in town.

The staff was condescending and seemed to think we were an inconvenience because the room keys would not work. She ended up giving us her master key.

Clean, Fairly-priced accomodations.

Pros: This Hotel is a very short distance from my Family's home. It's nearby restaurants, coffee-shops, shopping, thrift shops. 24 hour check-in is great!
Cons: A little more attention to some of the details would be great. Faucets, Outlets, TV, Heater/Cooler, Bathroom tiles.
Location: Eating, Shopping & visiting Family.
The room was clean & the beds were comfortable. It would have been better if my 1st day's request was remembered or written down for my room. I asked for three sets of towels when i checked in, but i had to go back each day to get the third set from the desk or housekeeping. My conversation at check-in included the fact that there were 2 adults & 1 child staying in the room, which is why we booked a double queen room. We also found the tile floor in the bathroom severely cold, very uncomfortable to stand/walk on. The faucets at the sink in this handicap-accessible room were not properly set/alligned, if you don't push them extremely to the center, you get a constant drip. Most of the electrical outlets were inaccessible; as they were blocked by furniture, so we had to plug in our devices in the bathroom, very inconvenient. The TV's picture tube was failing, frequently we had sound but no picture. The heater/cooler was noisy.

The desk clerk was nasty to me about my request for a first-floor room after I saw that she had assigned me to a second-floor room. (I have mobility issues, but am not disabled.) Her attitude was enough to make me consider staying elsewhere another time, but the Travelodge rates can't be beat.

Good value and comfortable

Clean and comfortable. Easy to find and reasonably quiet. Room temperature control was excellent and also quiet. We were involved in activities at Gettysburg National Battlefield and were within a reasonable distance from these activities and the price was very attractive. The breakfast was more than expected and the service efficient. The neighborhood is crowded and congested but the parking was easy to access and safe. This is an older establishment but kept in good repair. For activities in the immediate Chambersburg area this is a good location.
