Great staff. Remodeling.

Posted Mar 16, 2017
Pros: The staff and management arranged to provide for guests during the No Travel conditions, provided breakfast, housekeeping, snow removal, etc.Nice Job!
Cons: WiFi connectivity is intermittent during high use periods. This could be improved.
Location: The battlefields are thought provoking.
We were in Gettysburg for the "big snow," wrapping up a 43 day road trip. It was great that we had planned a two day stay last year. The Battlefield was clean and green one day and totally snow covered the next. Most of the restaurants and stores were closed. The hotel and the community handled the snow well and we continued our tour after the roads were open.

Perfect stay, right next to battlefield!

Clean cozy room, could see the battlefield from our window. Hot breakfast was great, staff friendly, so much in walking distance! Will be back for sure

Hotel at the battlefield

Posted Mar 11, 2017
Hotel lobby is beautiful and staff extremely friendly and helpful. Hotel is located at the edge of battlefield. Room is beautiful and spacious, bed very comfortable. Great amenities in room and pool available, too. We wish we were staying longer, but we will be back for a longer stay!

The room was spacious and clean, except for the carpet. The carpet felt grimy when walking barefoot. The location is great in downtown old Gettysburg next to the national park. The free breakfast was ok, not great. I would stay there again.

Comfortable and Inexpensive

Posted Mar 2, 2017
Pros: location and breakfast
Location: location within easy drive of the Old Town and area has plenty of eating spots nearby
When staying in Gettysburg be certain to make this hotel your accommodation of choice. It offers great location, staff and facilities plus it is very easy on the budget. The breakfast that comes with the room is diversified (hot and cold items) and is provided in a nice cottage setting. You cannot go wrong with your stay there and the bonus is that you are located adjacent to an actual battlefield site. Enjoy your stay because you certainly get much more than you pay for!

Right beside the battlefield and quiet location...

Posted Jan 21, 2017
Pros: Hotel was very clean and in good order.
Cons: We were disappointed that the pool was in a separate building. It was cold outside so we didn't get to use the pool because of it's location.
Location: In town. Close to Gettysburg battlefield and visitor center/museum/cyclorama.
Nice hotel for a reasonable price. Very clean. Bathroom was pretty cold and heater was noisy but room was warm (except bathroom). Quiet even though we were in the town of Gettysburg. Went to breakfast early since Breakfast House is rather small for the number of rooms in the hotel. Breakfast was good and substantial.

Thank you! It is possible to guarantee rooms in the indoor pool building so it's not necessary to go outside to use the pool. Our Victorian Breakfast Cottage offers double the amount of seating that is required for a hotel of our size, but I realize during busy times the peak breakfast hour can get a bit crowded. See you next time!

The location is perfect and the breakfast cottage is so cute, but the amenities were a bit dicey. may need some tlc on heating and bathroom updates.

Great location in heart of Gettysburg

Posted Dec 24, 2016
We attended a funeral for this trip. The hotel staff made this much easier for us.
