Very convenient location next to all transport options easy to catch a train, tram, or walk to anywhere you need. Very friendly and helpful front desk staff and kind. This is an older hotel but in good shape with some modern touches and the lift worked well. Good value for the Euro in my opinion. Breakfast onsite was very nice and had lots of options but there's also lots of great options nearby to explore. The room at the top 602 has a balcony which is nice to sit and enjoy the sunset and put feet up after a long day of sight seeing.

We loved our stay at Hotel Carlton. The room was perfect for our stay, the staff were very helpful, and the location was ideal. We liked the daily still and fizzy water "on tap" and in our room. We would happily stay here if visiting Ghent again.
