Very nice hotel, well located and good car parking

Posted Dec 29, 2017
Had a very enjoyable one night stay. Room was a good size with plenty of storage space and very large bed. Breakfast was very good with plenty to choose from and catered for most dietary needs. Underground car park was good and only paid for a day rate even though we exceeded 24 hours.

Excellent view of the Belfort and location!

Posted Dec 27, 2017
Pros: Location to all the sights and the awesome view of the Belfort! Everything is so close! The hotel is also updated and modern, friendly staff.
Cons: The beds were too firm It was uncomfortable... a nice pillow top cover would help.
Location: Steps away from everything! Excellent location in Gent for sightseeing and the Christmas Market!
The hotel is in an excellent location close to all the sights... literally STEPS away! I sat at the bay window in the room looking at the Belfort and over the Christmas Market for most of our Christmas stay. It was so cold outside that I didn’t stay out for extended periods of time so I would conveniently return to the comfort of the room but still feel like I was in the middle of the Christmas Market. While the hotel itself and common areas are modern and updated, there are two types of rooms: modern and standard. I had a standard and it had worn carpet and outdated furniture but not even noticeable when you have that kind of unobstructed view of the Belfort! Staff is nice and friendly and I would definitely stay again next time I’m in Gent! Definitely ask for a room with the bay windows overlooking the Belfort!

Discovering Belgium.

Lovely visit to Ghent. Perfect walking city. Hotel is well-located, though generic. Our room was good. Not sure all the rooms are equal, because some floors looked more tired than others.

Ghent in the Fall

Posted Oct 9, 2017 on Hotels
Ghent was a nice city. The hotel was beyond expectation. The location great. Highly recommend the City Card (you can get one at the hotel desk conveniently) and you can access local attractions by showing the card - including a canal boat tour.

Very good hotel centrally situated.

Posted Oct 7, 2017
Pros: It's cleanliness, food and staff and its location.
Cons: A quieter fridge.
Location: The hotel is centrally situated in the historical centre of the city, making it easy to walk to most of the main attractions.
We stayed in a very spacious superior room for 4 nights. Very comfortable, the only thing spoiling it was a noisy fridge. On settling into the room, we had to contact reception for shower gel and English breakfast tea to be brought to us. We had dinner in the hotel on 3 of the nights, though the menu choice was not that big, the meals were very good. We had some disturbance during the night with a few youngsters having apparently drunk more than one drink. We used the fitness centre, which has a small selection of machines all of which are quite new.

One day stay in Ghent

Posted Oct 2, 2017
Pros: The vicinity and the facilities
Cons: The stairs are a bit scary, no painting, no comfort
Location: Very nice location, centre town, close to many attractions
I came to deliver a lecture in an annula spiritual gathering, and it was the ffirst time I stayed there. Truly enjoyed it. The hotel but also the vicinity with nice attractions and monuments.
