Late check-in wasn’t great. No one at the front desk to let us in the hotel. Staff coming in let us inside. Rang the bell at front desk & waited for at least 15 minutes before calling the hotel direct and then someone finally came out to help us. Lobby was the highlight; a very nice & spacious meeting area. Room was quiet & decent size with mini fridge, microwave & coffee maker. No safe. Beds were quite comfortable. Nothing to put suitcases on except on the floor or bed. Dual shower heads with nice water pressure. Bathroom vent looked disgusting & needs good cleaning. Breakfast on first morning was terrible. Everything was undercooked, especially the eggs & sausages. We were afraid we would get sick & didn’t eat much. Second morning was much better. Nice restaurant to accommodate guests for meals. Patio tables available for warmer weather. Check out was smooth & very professional.

basement and amenities need renos, staff are all amazingly nice and accommodating from check in to restaurant and amenities front desk. the terrace is my perfection and beautiful.

Very friendly and helpful front staff. Excellent location for both the U of A hospital (one block to main doors) or the University. Like most all downtown and University area, parking is extra unless you have Expedia VIP access that gives you free attached covered parking (low ceiling height, no trucks). Nice clean suites with AC and light meal prep.. Safeway grocery store nearby. Walkable to Whyte Ave where you will find several restaurants as well as nearby restaurants. Most definitely will stay here again if in this area of the city.
