Very nice property. Clean. Checkin was easy and very quick. Staff was very friendly. Room very nice Large with full kitchen. Highly recommended.

I was very disappointed when we ran out of toilet paper early in the morning and there was no extras anywhere in the room. I also discovered the there was trash in the trash can under the sink which had multiple Q-tips, an empty toilet paper roll and the paper from around the toilet paper. The thing that hold the body wash, shampoo, and conditioner bottles on the wall of the shower was not locked in so the all fell on the floor when I tried to use them. The desk clerk was very kind and offered to send housekeeping to our room which I declined. We have stayed at several Candle Wood Suites and never had anything like this happen before. The desk clerk gave me what I needed since we were checking out in a few hours anyway. Housekeeping obviously did a really poor job on the room. It made me wonder about the bed then, gross!!!

Walked in and the lobby smelled like an auto repair shop. There were a bunch of guys sitting in the lobby who apparently worked in the oil fields. That smell continued throughout the elevator and hallways. We were given our room key. We opened the door. The room looked like a tornado went through it. It was filthy. Oops gave us a room that was occupied. Changed rooms. Had to continue smell the nasty oil and dirt sweat.

The first room 213 spelled so musty and the bed was kind of messy so not sure if clean. Was given a new room 319 which did not smell musty but the shower was old and the shower door disgusting with corrosion. Needs replaced bad. Overall room was clean. Have paid the same and even less for other hotels and had much better rooms.

On the what did you not like, let me say our bill was totally messed up. It started on check in. I asked to move the bill to another credit card. She took a few minutes working on it and said it was taken care of. The day before we checked out i checked again because it was 125.00 dollars more then we paid. Once again the front desk worked on it and said it was corrected. The morning of check out the bill was now on 2 credit cards and no longer pending but charged. My wife went down this time to see what was going on with on with 2 bills now. Upon talking to Crystal who was now annoyed, my wife asked have i done something wrong? Crystal replied your first mistake was booking through EXPEDIA. It was downhill from there. It did get corrected after one or two more calls after we got home. We were advised to book through the hotel and not through Expedia . What does Expedia think of the Operations Manager of Candlewoods response concerning this? As a customer of Expedia this is how we were treated. David Sharp

We greatly apologize for the miscommunication during your check-in and check-out process. We charge third party bookings for their stay the day of their arrival and use the card provided by the third party entity. We agree another card was added at check-in, however, it was not charged until the morning of your check-out and ONLY after the first card was refunded. The other $125 mistake was inaccurate addition of pet fees that should have been charged only once. All fees were corrected and accurate by the time you departed at 9:15am. As stated at check-out, the card refunded would take 7-10 days to return funds. This was also explained with each phone call. On the property level, we do have booking preferences and love to honor loyal guests, as it alleviates many miscommunications, such as this one. We also appreciate patience when these issues arise as all parties showed little, myself included, for which I apologize. We invite you back to our property so that we can WOW you. Wishing you many happy travels.

Clean comfortable with very nice kitchenette
Amazing clean suite with really well appointed kitchenette. Wish our stay had been longer so we could have used the suite to the maximum. Bed was very comfortable and ever thing was very clean.

Wish I stayed longer
We got in late and really just needed a place to crash, but the rooms were awesome, clean, and comfortable. Made me regret that we were not staying longer. Reception was also friendly and helpful.

Use a different hotel site
I had reservations to stay at this hotel. But was never informed that this hotel was closed due to a fire. Neither the hotel or hotels.com informed me of this. But charged me for the room anyway and they won't refund my money. I won't be using candlewood suites hotels or hotels.com ever again.

Very clean but no pool or breakfast.
Very clean place. Everything is within driving distance if not walking distance. No pool or breakfast though. That would have been nice but we made breakfast in the suite which was delicious. Had a pet friendly room that seemed pretty clean. You can borrow board games and electronic gaming devices from the front desk. Staff was friendly.

Great room -odd checkin
Beautiful room, check in was a little odd. They tried to tell me how booking through Hotels.com was problematic. However the room was beautiful and just what we needed after 11 hours on the road. Covid edition: The signage in the building said masks were required inside-but many guests were ignoring that-which was worrisome.

Convenient place for a Gillette stay
I stayed here for 3 days on a business trip. Pleasant service, coffee on demand and a nice kitchen made the stay enjoyable. The room was very quiet except when I turned down the thermostat in my room which kicked the AC on. AC was very loud but that was probably my fault for turning it on during freezing January!
