Smelly and Repugnant

When we entered the hotel, it smelled badly, was extremely dark and dirty, with very few cars in the parking lot. We checked in and were given a room. The room smelled extremely unpleasant, so we asked for a different room. We left the second room and left the building. We knew since the card had already been charged we would not get our money back, but the hotel environment was so deplorable and felt unsafe that we decided to loose the money and try to find other lodging. Went back the next morning to get the bill. It had not been generated and put in the room so had to go to the desk to have one printed. Can't provide you with photos because we didn't stay long enough.

As you may have noticed, we have been switched a lot of our lighting to brighter and more environmentally friendly LED bulbs. I wish I knew which area of the hotel you felt was dark and uninviting, so we could improve that area. We have lights throughout the inside and around the outside of the building. We have lights in our parking lot and there are street lamps as well. We you pay through Expedia, they provide you with the receipt as they bought the room from us and sold the room to you at a discounted price. When Expedia provides the room, we bill them for the room, and they provide you with the receipt by email. I'm sorry you felt the room wasn't up to your standards. I wish you had let us know during your stay so we could have helped you find lodging more suited for your needs. Thanks again for choosing Ramada Plaza Gillette! Pros: pool in center
the hotel was very nice. the idea of the pool in the center of the hotel is very nice for families with children. the room was clean and the staff was very nice.

Front desk staff very nice. Room we were to stay in should never have been offered to a guest spending that kind of money. The sheets were ripped, there were holes in the walls and the bathroom looked like it had never been cleaned. Thank goodness the front desk staffer changed our room - it had a cleaner bathroom. It is one thing just to have a dated appearance, but I do expect it to be clean.

Pros: You can enter the Japanese Restaurant from the hotel
Most days we had to request housekeeping. Even after the request on Sunday nothing happened. The room always smelt as though someone had been smoking in it and my husband and I were suffering with headaches from the smell.

we were very happy with this hotel. Large pool and great breakfast. there is a bar and a restaurant right in the hotel. Although we didn't get to go to either we would have loved too. Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

Pretty run down

There is not always someone at the front desk waited 15min to check in for staff to show up. Old needs updating including pool area. Leftover food left in refrigerator. I will say breakfast was good.
