Booked this place because it had a hot tub and pool, hot tub was broken and saw that it has been since Nov. ‘23, and the pool was beyond cold. The room was clean but the bathroom was not. Toilet hadn’t been wiped down, and the shower and sink didn’t drain properly. The hot water was only available for one shower then became like warm. The front desk help was never around to help or complain, we also needed more towels and couldn’t ever find anyone to help. The phone in our room didn’t work at all to call out or to the front desk and the tv was hit and miss on working too. The key cards had to be used a certain way to open the doors if they opened the doors at all. Side entrance door was broke so you didn’t even need a card. The property needs updated and a lot of work. Everything was worn down. We were very dissatisfied

Used to love it there but this place has really gone downhill! Breakfast was bad. They don’t refill food often. No silverware. Breakfast area was very dirty. Front staff is very unprofessional. No costumer service skills. Room key stopped working like 3 time! The beds are comfortable. But rooms are not very clean. Great location.

When we arrived the room was not cleaned. The bed was unmade and there were used towels on the floor. The bed did get made but the bathroom was not cleaned and the towels were left there. I'm going to assume the rest of the room was not cleaned either. The food at breakfast was burned and started to get stale around 7:30/8 am. The coffee was not replenished in a timely manner. The pool was freezing and the pool room was also freezing, as if the heat was turned off in that area. It was a busy weekend so maybe they were understaffed but it wasn't an impressive hotel stay.

Tv did not work in room. They moved me to another room. Desk missing in new room, hard to do work. Original room had a desk. At 249am, front desk called my room because earlier person did not move my information to new room and to ask if someone left a cell phone in room or bathroom. My key did not work in morning. Lady who fixed my key, I mentioned all this to her and she didn’t seem to care.

The property was with out heat for a while and the ability to activate key cards were not working. They were very accommodating and still allowed us to check in, and heating was fixed by sundown. The rooms were clean. The smoke alarms went off and not sure they ever found the source. The pool was extremely cold and hot tub was not hot. The rooms/hallway smelled like smoke. All in all, it was fine and with extreme cold conditions outside I thought they were very helpful.

After checking in, we went to our room to find that it had not been cleaned. We checked in about 3hrs after the check in time. Called Wingate and they transferred me to a complaint service person, in which they hung up on me before being able to even speak with anyone.

Not at the level of a Windham
We had to change rooms 3 times. The bathroom in the first room was disgusting. The second room had paint peeling on the tub, no remote. Hotel is old, outdaded, understaffed. Breakfast was meh. Front desk girl was also taking care of breakfast. General manager is MIA and won't talk to guests on request. We stayed at this hotel because it had good reviews and were highly disappointed. The only good thing it had was their front desk staff. They kept their cool and were helpful and accommodating for the most part.

We had sound problems with our tv, went to the front desk and they fixed it instantly. The next morning while we were eating breakfast, we left our husky babies in our truck for maybe ten minutes. Our oldest decided to get into our smoothie that we thought was safe in the door cubby. Mango smoothie ALL OVER THE FRONT TWO SEATS. I went to the front desk and asked for some wet towels and explained what had happened. She found some dry towels lol, but I was able to use the lobby bathroom and get it cleaned up. My husky on the other hand, let’s just say she has orange spots all over still haha. The staff was very accommodating and super friendly! It was our first stay in a hotel with our huskies and everything went great!

Checked into the hotel a little bit early at 2:40pm- I was told the room may not be ready and it wasn’t, so we left. No issues since we were early. Came back at 5:45pm and our room was still not cleaned. The front desk asked us to give them 5 minutes and they would have it clean. We found a room elsewhere because we were so grossed out - the room was completely dirty with bedding rolled up on the floor- and they told us they could clean in 5 minutes? No thanks!

Was in a great area!! What I didn’t like is that Expedia charged me about $150.00 extra bcuz I had to change my dates due to circumstances out of my control. I originally booked for Sept 20-22 for the Wyo State High Tennis Tournament and I had up to Sept 19th to change it. Well they swapped for September 24-27 due to weather, bcuz it was after 5pm on Sept 19th, you guys charged me for changing the dates. I book all my trips usually big trips thru Expedia but maybe I will rethink that next time for my daughters graduation this spring.

A Gem in Gillette
This is a lovely hotel and it was perfect for our overnight stay before we headed into South Dakota for sightseeing. The rate was very competitive. The staff were pleasant and friendly. The room was very well appointed with a modern, rustic vibe. Our stay was quiet and comfortable. One small housekeeping item is that the laminate flooring in the entry and bathroom area of our room needed a good mopping. They looked clean, but the bottom of my socks told a different story. Overall though, a great value for the money and we would stay here again!

We were coming through and the property had great ratings. I felt the check in was a little odd, the girl at the desk had purple hair and was very preoccupied by a dog that her friend had there with her. She seemed scattered but it was fine. The stay was good and pretty quiet. The breakfast was odd, the staff was having breakfast and they were having a conversation saying a lot of profanities quite loudly and I have a pretty quiet teenager who was kind of surprised as well as myself. I don't expect to hear the F bomb dropped over breakfast. The facility itself was great, just perhaps have to have a meeting with staff about acceptable behavior.
