There was an unexpected additional charge when I got there. There is no way to adjust the temperature in the room. Walls are very thin, very poor water pressure in the shower and mold in the shower. The only thing really nice is that it is very close to downtown

Modern hostel, very cleanPosted Nov 16, 2017
Stayed for one night for a gig at the hydro. So cheap for being in the middle of Glasgow. Very modern decor, staff friendly, cheap drinks at the hostel bar! Only let down was the breakfast in the morning, it was buffet style Scottish breakfast but not the best. Still love the hostel though. Plenty cafes/eateries/pubs nearby! Wouldn't stay anywhere else in glasgow now!

Chose a private room. It’s a small room but with this price, I’m okay with it.

Good cheap option!Posted Nov 3, 2017
Good place to stay for a short stay midweek. Was very noisy and lawless on a Wednesday evening so I can imagine it's madness on a weekend!!! Walls paper thin, beds are ridiculously squeaky and front desk staff quite straight laced and lack humour/warmth but on a positive note the rooms are spotless and the whole hostel has got a fabulous vibe to it plus it's cheap as chips!!!!!

Check-in was efficient if impersonal. Good facilities, clean and minimal in the style of a Travelodge. However, my room was subject to noise past midnight from other guests and constant running water from the toilet. The room was also hot so had to open the window which then added traffic noise. The mattress on the bed was saggy and very uncomfortable with various springs sprung, although this was rectified by using the duvet from the other bed in the room to lie on. Overall would recommend for the price.

Very central hostel.Posted Oct 8, 2017
Rooms have just been refreshed. Modern with few items of furniture but adequate. Double bed with head at window not a great feature but it was comfortable. Shower was excellent.

Centrally located on ClydePosted Sep 30, 2017
Pros: Good service, reasonably priced, central location
Cons: Can't be changed, but although the hostel is central, it's a bit away from central downtown, so streets fairly deserted in evening.
Location: Theatres, museums, on route of hop on, hop off bus tour.
I experienced no problems with one-night stay. Staff were courteous, There's a rather noisy bar on the main floor, but my room was on the 4th floor, and it didn't disturb my sleep. The room was comfortable and adequate. Bed linen and towels were provided.

Large hostel conveniently situated in central cityPosted Sep 14, 2017
Clean and spacious rooms with ensuites. Would benefit from new mattresses, individual bed lights, and charging sockets. The lounge/dining and bar OK . But the kitchen poorly equipped and fridges not checked often enough....much left food clogging the shelves. I suspect some had been there for weeks !! I chucked some sour milk out myself !! The buffet breakfast good value for £5. Otherwise a good value hostel . Would stay again.

Great though short. Enjoyed their breakfast and the environment is cool.
