Fantastic Hotel and Staff

Posted Aug 20, 2017
Pros: Lovely staff, good central location and excellent facilities.
Cons: Can't think of much.
Location: I would recommend the bus tour of Glasgow, and then decide where to go based on that. Kelvingrove museum and art gallery is a must though.
Stayed at Hotel Indigo Glasgow with my wife, as we were celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary, this is because we stayed one night in Glasgow on our way to our Highland honeymoon cottage when we got married. Hotel was excellent in every aspect and would highly recommend. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very stylish and breakfast was delicious.

Central

Fantastic location just a couple blocks away from the train station as well as Buchanan Street. Felt safe walking around the area even late at night. Very helpful staff as well, many good recommendations!

Elegant, comfortable and friendly

Posted Aug 10, 2017
Pros: Above all it felt like a safe and comfortable place to be - a haven within the city.
Cons: I would not give the attached Marco Pierre White restaurant full marks. Even at a slow time the service was lax and forgetful.
Location: Only a couple of blocks from Central Station and close to the busy city centre, shops, cafes etc. but in an office area and therefore quiet.
The Hotel Indigo is elegant, comfortable and conveniently situated, with friendly and helpful staff. The bed was very comfortable, the shower convenient and easy to manage, the mini fridge stocked with some complimentary snacks and drinks and re-stocked when they had been used. The Bar was a comfortable place to be for two women wanting a slow drink and a long relaxing chat.

Thanks Jeanne, I am sorry that the room was a bit on the small side for your needs, the size of our rooms does compare favourably to other city centre hotels.

The place to stay in central Glasgow

Posted Jul 15, 2017
This is a very nice hotel within easy walk of the central train station in Glasgow -- even when dragging bags. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful We will certainly stay there again if passing this way .

Friendly boutique hotel

Posted Jul 12, 2017
This was a friendly hotel in a good location. We had two queen beds that fit snugly in the room with a nice bathroom. The window was small and the lighting a bit dim, but very clean, great room amenities, and stylish decor. We slept incredibly well. The bar was great and the breakfast was lovely. Definitely try the Scottish breakfast and the whiskey porridge!
