Pros: The staff
Cons: without A/C, room was too warm

Thanks Jeanne, I am sorry that the room was a bit on the small side for your needs, the size of our rooms does compare favourably to other city centre hotels.

Cons: Breakfast overpriced. Skipped this option. No other complaints 🙂
As above....great helpful and friendly staff. Glasgow seems to be a city with a good heart. Location was near everything.

The place to stay in central Glasgow

Posted Jul 15, 2017
This is a very nice hotel within easy walk of the central train station in Glasgow -- even when dragging bags. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful We will certainly stay there again if passing this way .

Friendly boutique hotel

Posted Jul 12, 2017
This was a friendly hotel in a good location. We had two queen beds that fit snugly in the room with a nice bathroom. The window was small and the lighting a bit dim, but very clean, great room amenities, and stylish decor. We slept incredibly well. The bar was great and the breakfast was lovely. Definitely try the Scottish breakfast and the whiskey porridge!

Hotel was good, not a fan of Glasgow. Nice museums but all the places in downtown within walking, even far walking distance were bars and could not find family restaurants at all. Only food for families was in the hotel, Burger King at the train station, or take away food dto eat standing on street or on bed at hotel. I live in New Orleans and did not vacation to watch drunks on the street, that was Glasgow after the museums closed.

Nice staff and great service!

Posted Jul 7, 2017
The staff were most helpful. Rooms are very very small and there is no room for luggage at all. The complementary breakfast is wonderful. The location is ideal and very close to every thing including the train station.

Parking is next door. Lots of one way roads. Go left down weddington ally and left again and left to the car park.

Near Everything

Posted Jun 26, 2017
Great stay except one of the two lifts was out of order for the whole week. There is no service lift so we competed quite a bit with housekeeping and other guests for the one functional lift. Other than that, hotel relatively quiet and comfortable.

Hi Stevey B, We do take the safety of our guests very seriously and unfortunately were unable to operate one lift for a few days- this had now been rectified. Regards Duncan Johnston General Manager

Over night for a friend's party.

Posted Jun 26, 2017
Pros: decor and satff.
Location: Very central, plenty bars, restaurants and shops in walking distance. Minutes from the station.
I booked this in April and then broke my ankle. The hotel made sure we had a room close to a lift and were very considerate of my situation. Luxurious hotel in Glasgow city centre, a great place to relax.
