"Lovely hotel in quiet residential area of Glasgow"
Very nice welcome. Beautiful spacious room with comfortable beds. Sitting area with couch and table and chairs. Very comfortable to watch huge TV screen. Very nice bathroom, only down side was very deep bath with no hand rails! Shower with large head from ceiling - not good if you don't want your hair wet! Very pleasant bar area. Delicious dinner with excellent service. Breakfast, had good choice of cereals, fruit juices, fresh fruit and youghart and individually cooked breakfast ( no Bain Marie) I highly recommend.

Malmaison Glasgow

278 West George St, Glasgow G2 4LL - Map
Overall, handy central location. Well decorated and warm rooms. Late check out was fab. Could be improved: 1 - sound proofing between rooms and corridors as floor boards were creaky and those walking down corridors could be heard easily; 2 - breakfast: coffee was not drinkable, toast was brought too early (should be after cereal, fruit) 3 - decor in reception and dining areas is dated (purple, black, gold). Could be contemporary like some of the bedrooms. Overall, lovely place.
