Great hotel to stay at Page

Pros: Very nice stay at Page and close to shops and restaurants in Page.
Cons: Noise insulation to hallway -- at 6am when people get up, they talk in the hallway, and their voices were clear as day. Doors seem like paper thin.
Location: Walkable to great restaurants in town a block away, and antelope canyon tour companies meeting points.
Loved our stay at Best Western Plus at Page. For a small city, the hotel has everything we needed. Staff was friendly and the complimentary breakfast was great. Walkable to pretty much the "central" part of town where some of the tour companies operate and the nice restaurants are. They have free wi-fi, although it's not fast, it was sufficient. Our phones got zero reception up there so we actually *really* needed their internet to get any info! The wi-fi was fast enough to browse web pages and maps to get info, so it's good enough, not like we want to stream videos or anything.

Nice new hotel with modern amenities.

Pros: New. Bright. Good view of Lake Powell area from back side of hotel, where we were.
Location: Raft rides in Colorado River (that's what we did), Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell.
Good place to stay. Hotel was full both nights and we were there in middle of week. Breakfast was included and very good. Hotel is prepared to host all of the people who come to breakfast and control the flow just like a regular restaurant.

Stayed two nights. Great location, close to Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons, Horseshoe Bend, Glen Canyon Recreational Area. Clean, quiet. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was great. Restaurants were within walking distance of the hotel (recommend Dam Bar and Grill, or Fiesta Mexicana.) Only downfall, the Wi-Fi was very slow, which staff did warn about.

Terrible customer service

As we arrived at registration desk, we waited for several minutes before one of the clerks finally looked up and acknowledged us and we were the only guests there so it was awkward. While we waited we read signs that said their internet was slow (it was terrible!) and that there would be long waits to be seated for breakfast unless you arrive by 6am. There was a horrible strong cleaning chemical smell as we were walking down the hallway to our room. The bathroom light was very dim and the walls were painted a horrible gold color so it was hard to see what you were doing. Their breakfast area is too small for the capacity of their hotel, so there was waiting to get a seat. Not a pleasant experience overall.

It was a great hotel. They didn't have room ready so they upgraded my room for free. Nice and friendly staff. Would definitely stay again. Great!!!!!!!!!

Thank goodness we were overly tired when we got here and only stayed one night. The hotel is clean, nicely appointed, and is in a great, easy to get to location, but walls are THIN! Checking in took way too long. There was a ton of people and only one clerk working. I understand that it was busy, but that's not an excuse for the clerk to be unfriendly. I had a leg brace on and asked if it was possible to get a room closer to an elevator. The clerk made no verbal acknowledge whatsoever, she just gave me a blank stare. We end up getting a room on the pool floor that was not close to the elevator or side entrance/exit. I didn't want to deal with asking to move, we were exhausted. Instead of hobbling to the front desk, I tried to call to ask for extra towels since It seemed like we were missing some. It rang forever all 3 times, no answer to ask me to hold, no apology for the wait, nothing. So I go up to the desk and there's still a million people. I gave up. There's a sign for optimal time to go to breakfast to avoid the busiest time. We went at 630 am. Another long line, and this time there's an employee directing there entrance to the dining area. I asked about just grabbing coffee and a couple things and was told I had to wait in line. We just left. Usually we choose BW because of the amenities like breakfast, pools and great customer service. I wanted to see if I could speak to a manager before we left but I didn't want to deal with anymore.

Dear Jen, I am so sorry you did not have a good experience at the hotel. Our hotel has 4 levels, and pool level has the shortest hallway with easy access to both elevator, parking lot, vending machines, and the pool. I apologize if the conveniences of the floor was not better communicated. We thank you for your stay with us. I apologize if there were any miscommunication.
