clean rooms

Pros: clean room; low cost
Cons: clientele a bit questionable
Location: decent area; close to neighborhood restaurants.
neighbors in complex are a bit sketchy. This is not a 5 star hotel. But room clean. breakfast is a joke; coffee and energy bars. Don't bother. overall; good value for price.

Close to the Mexican consulate

We stayed overnight because we had a morning appointment to get visas at the Mexican consulate right down the road. The room was clean and comfortable, although it's a bit shabby with big stains on the sink. Also our room key card didn't work, and the person at the office couldn't get one for us that would work so she had to let us in, and then we just made sure to only leave the room one person at a time. But since it was only a single night that was manageable.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Not to lie to people about having room avaialble
Location: The location is great unfortunately that is the wrong hotel to be located in that great location.
They lie about having room. I have had a reservation twice and every time they told me that they are over booked and they wanted to send me to another Extended America in Aurora and I refused to go there. Overall I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Adequate lodgings well priced

The bed was comfortable - access to kitchen utensils and dishware was simple and the location was in walking distance of several restaurants. Overall a positive experience and excellently affordable

Room wasn't clean, hair on toilet, bathroom floor wasn't swept up, stains on blanket, wall need paint touched up in 40 spots, didn't get the double bed room a paid for

Overbooked and met with indifference

Pros: Location
Cons: Front desk personnel.
Location: Plenty of shopping at Cherry Creek.
We has specifically chose this location due to its proximity to shopping and other attractions. We were notified upon arrival they were overbooked. I can understand these things happen, but better customer service would have been in order. As such, while we were given accommodation across town, the way it was handled was less than ideal. For me, hotels prove their worth when things go awry, and the Cherry Creek location gets a failing grade.

Never again

The room was supposed to have a pull out sofa bed nope not there no idea why not. Bed was hard only two pillows. Staff short and rude at check in after long day of travel.

Turned me away after traveling all day

We were turned away because "they had no staff to clean rooms" I prepaid for the room and had to sit on the phone for an hour finding another hotel on a busy college move in weekend after traveling all day. Staff was not sympathetic AT ALL.

Horrible experience- felt unsafe & rec'd no refund

I checked in to the hotel and received my room key. When walking to my car, there was a man standing/smoking right by my car. I felt unsafe but got to my car and drove to my room. I went inside and immediately left. I called Expedia to tell them I felt unsafe and request a new reservation in a different location. I was relocated but the Extended Stay denied my refund due to "not a valid reason"... Really? My safety as a single woman is not a valid reason?! Unheard of... never again will I stay at one of their properties.

Location: It was close to an event which we were attending.
At check in,a guy on motorcycle questioned me about price, how long to stay, why here and price again. Unloaded car, on second trip to car, different guy lounging against wall directly behind my car. As I brought second bag to room, another person came to stairwell with trash, which he dropped at bottom steps and walked away. No trash bin there. Inside the room, the toilet started to leak, as if it had not completely filled. Also there was a drilling sound as if there was activity in next room. I felt very unesy, so we packed up and left. We forgot our personal pillows in our haste to go. When I pulled out of the drive, a grey car pulled out behind me. I moved to the curb, he pulled into a driveway ahead, which was behind a stripmall. He stopped, then sped ahead. I took off and got onto a main street. Later I called "Tom" to tell him to check us out. I mailed the room card back today. We were very uncomfortable at this location.
