Quaint Hotel

Posted May 24, 2016
Pros: This hotel provides a typical B&B experience.
Cons: The shower was not the best. I think hot water is limited - so be sure to shower early.
Location: This hotel is about 50 minutes from Bryce National Park and about an hour from the Zion National Park visitor's center.
This hotel is about 50 minutes from Bryce National Park and about an hour from the Zion National Park visitor's center. There are a lot of closer options, so this is something to consider if you are limited on time. Overall, this was an enjoyable hotel to stay at. My partner and I had a room with a king bed, which was a corner room and lovely. As with many B&Bs the rooms vary. Two older ladies booked a room with double beds and got bunks. They were not happy, but admitted they chose an inexpensive option. So, it may be best to book a higher priced room. The breakfast was homemade and varies each day. We had a blackberry waffle one day and quiche the next. There seems to always be fruit and yogurt, also juice and coffee. Other than this, be sure to bring food! There are few stores and they close early. Except around the national parks, there are no places to eat. Be sure to pack a cooler.

Thank you for staying with us. We try to make everyone happy that stays with us. We no longer book our smallest room, too tiny for most, but the only two bed room that we have. Lots of great places to eat by the parks, nothing local. Hopefully someday someone will open a great place to eat in Glendale.

This was a very nice but old B+B. Full of antiques and collectables. The owners were great and gave us good tips for what to do at Zion National park. We really enjoyed our time there.

Disappointed

Posted Apr 11, 2016
There are no dinner options nearby. Breakfast was a disappointment / used to several juice choices, served something close to HiC. Yoghurt was great but when small bowl was empty, no offers of refill. Ok but have had better B and B choices

Sorry you were disappointed. Restaurant next door has been closed to illness. We do have lots of juice choices, just need to ask as well with the more yogurt. Hope the rest of you trip was good. Thank you, Rochelle

Friendly, close to Zion and Bryce

Posted Mar 28, 2016
Pros: Nice historical place, clean and remodeled, has lots of historical items from the structure, their families etc. has a real homey feel.
Location: This is located between Bryce canyon and Zion National parks. very convenient location to visit both parks. Nice smaller restaurants nearby.
Rochelle and Mike are very friendly and helpful people. Near our room was a kind of outdoor viewing area with coffee, tea and all the fixings. There is free WI -FI and a small electronics table for your use. They have a great HEALTHY breakfast with plenty to eat, with special waffles designed by them for health and an excellent fruit and yogurt bowl, juices, milk, cereal, toast etc. etc. Mike is an excellent woodworker and has made several items for the Hotel, there were 2 beautiful tables in our room and a beautiful wood base for our King Size bed. The bed was very comfortable. After breakfast Rochelle took us on a tour of her greenhouse with many beautiful flowers and plants. Then Mike asked where we were going, and he took a tour map and outlined many more things for us to see and do that only the locals would know. We were going to Bryce, and he added Lava Fields, a trip through camping and farming areas. As a bonus to that side trip, we saw and large group of prong horn antelope right in the road. They were beautiful and we got several pictures. then we went east of Bryce and saw many more beautiful valleys and more local agriculture that we would have missed. Thanks to Mike we had a full day of adventure. We highly recommend this hotel.
