Small & old hotel on second floor.

Posted Jul 14, 2017
This is not a stroller, wheelchair friendly hotel. We needed to carry our own luggages and belongings to the stairs; of course if you asked the staff; they were more than willing to carry them for you. The carpet was old. There was a weird old damp smell the moment you stepped inside the hotel; it was better inside the hotel room. It was just an okay hotel at a good and quiet location. 5mins drive to the galleria and 5 mins drive to Wholefood.

Old hotel, great location, fair price, very clean

Old hotel, great location, fair price, very clean rooms with nice furniture. Rooms are small but great price compared to the more modern and newer hotels in the area.

Nice, but outdated

No elevator. Steep flights of stairs. Think Paris hotel room. It would be nice if they mentioned there is no elevator. Then again, they'd lose customers.

Thin walls and steep stairs

Posted Jun 25, 2017
Upon arrival at the front door you are greeted with a long flight of stairs. There is no button to call for help and no one answered the phone when I tried to call. After registering, told to park in back, then have to climb steeper stairs with bag to get to room. Room nice but not work friendly. No plugs or USB ports on desk. Walls so thin could hear the neighbors talking like they were right there. Loud plumbing. Will never stay here again.

Hard to find

Posted Jun 25, 2017
This hotel is hard to locate, you can hear everything through walls, and there is no elevator and you walk up a full story just to get to the lobby

Charming hotel

Brandwood was perfect for our visit. Convenient to places we needed to be and the choices of restaurants and stores were wonderful! It would have been helpful, however, to know that this is a "walk-up" hotel with no elevator access and a steep flight of many steps.

Not Modern but had Character

Posted Jun 8, 2017
The stay was enjoyable as the location in Glendale was quite convenient. The hotel is comfortable but one important caveat is the lack of an elevator. Of course, this means climbing a fair amount of stairs with your luggage.

Charming!

Important to note that there are lots of stairs, no ground floor rooms, and no elevator. If I'd had a health issue, this wouldn't have been the best place. Other than that - loved it. Great location.
