Clean older hotel but updated nicely!

Perfectly located walking distance to many restaurants. The hotel restaurants has a great breakfast!!! The bathroom in our room was small with really no counter space for toiletries, but the hairdryer was great not one of those tiny ones that whispers air. The bed was super comfortable and the room was very clean! They have a small gym and a nice indoor pool. Very happy with our stay there!

Great Location Downtown Glens Falls

Pros: Location and charm
Within walking distance to restaurants, bars and walking/biking trails. Older hotel, but very nice accomodations even if a little dated. They are in the process of renovating rooms, we had an older room and I thought it was still very nice. They give you a token for $5 off breakfast. The food was good and we sat in the outside area. Would definitely stay there again if in the area.

Great downtown location/Old Time Charm

Enjoyed one night stay while traveling through New York State. Love the old time charm & history the hotel has. Room was large and spacious but quite worn. There was three busloads of kids staying there which made for a noisy evening.

Very convenient

The Queensbury was the perfect place to stay as we explored not only Glens Falls but the hiking in the area. It is convenient to restaurants, the theatre and shops. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet. The staff friendly and efficient.

Nice Hotel in Upstate New York

Pros: Loved the charm and the location.
Cons: More servers when so many events are scheduled.
Location: Not enough space to tell about all to do. Glens Falls is charming and close to Lake George. Good shopping.
The Queensbury is a nice hotel to stay in. Good location, good facility with a lot of charm. My only complaint was that management didn't hire enough restaurant staff to accommodate the people staying in the hotel for the wedding the Queensbury hosted, the large family reunion, our anniversary party, plus the other guests. It took too long to seat and serve patrons on the Saturday morning we were there. The food was good and worth the wait, but had there been adequate staff we would have been it of the dining room in less time and the servers would not have had to apologize so much. It wasn't the servers fault. We experienced the same thing on the last day of our stay. We arrived at breakfast at 9 o'clock and didn't leave the dining room until after 11 o'clock because there wasn't enough servers.

Good Morning Jacki, I am happy to hear your stay was enjoyable, besides the long wait for breakfast. As you know, breakfast is always popular at the 9am hour and that was the situation we ran into. We are trying to come up with a better plan to accommodate our guests to avoid the long wait times. I always recommend coming before 9am to avoid the rush, but understand that is not always feasible. HORRIBLE

Pros: NOTHING, I USED THIS HOTEL BECAUSE IT WAS NEAR REHAB WHERE MY BROTHER WAS RECOVERING FROM OPEN HEART SURGERY
Cons: I DO NOT HAVE TIME TO EXPLAIN, ASK MIKE ON NITES ABOUT MY DINNER ORDER AND JESS ON DAYS ABOUT MY BREAKFAST ROOM 333
Location: WAS NOT A VACATION
ROOM SERVICE HORRIBLE, 3 HOURS FOR DINNER ON FRIDAY NITE AND 2 HOURS FOR BREAKFAST ON SATURDAY MORNING, DINNER . FRIES BURNRED TO A CRISP, BREAKFAST COFFEE SERVED IN CARBOARD CONTAINER COLD, I WILL NEVER USE THIS HOTEL AGAIN IN-DOOR POOL NOT WORTH IT. ONY WORD IS HORRIBLE

nice hotel in good location

Pros: "old school" type hotel in good condition with friendly staff
Cons: "Breakfast included" is not exactly true - you are given a $5 credit per person per day = misleading by Expedia
Location: near nice restaurants and bars
very nice stay with very nice staff; pool is nice
