Disappointing for a Hampton...!

Cons: latching of room doors
Let me start by saying that I generally love Hamptons. This hotel however, was very disappointing. At check in I was called a name Expedia wont even let me post several times by the front desk attendant for not having a Hilton Honors account and for booking on Expedia. Next, when we got into our king room the walls were freshly painted and it smelled strongly of paint. While I was excited for clean paint and new carpet, the smell was overwhelming and this room should not have been rented out. Also, there was no baseboards (not that big of deal), and there was one lamp behind the TV that was obviously not supposed to be in the final renovated room- it had not one or off switch was a desk lamp directed straight up and we had to crawl behind furniture to unplug it. My biggest complaint was that the doors to the rooms were very LOUD. Even if a person held the door from slamming, to latch the doors it made a noise that was not enjoyable. I heard this ALL night long. Also could hear the exact conversation of the couple in the room next door through the wall. Overall- it was an uncomfortable night's stay and not the usual Hampton experience. I have no idea why this hotel has gotten 4 plus stars, it does not rank that high in my opinion and I would not recommend to a friend, or anyone.

Best Breakfast

Service was great. Rooms were clean. The bed was hard, but the breakfast more than made up for it. It was best hotel breakfast we have had. Very happy. We will stay there again if in the area.

Amazing hotel comfort!

This hotel was amazing for the unbelievable price! A hot tub would have really added to our stay. Rib City within walking distance and awesome bbq!! Downfall was communicatingredients with housekeeping that did not understand or speak English. Well worth the stay!!
