Quiet, safe, clean & great breakfast!

Posted Sep 23, 2016
Pros: Staff was super-nice, worked with us on late check in, provided maps & area advice.
Cons: The only thing that seemed to be missing was a hot tub/spa. A hot soak would have been welcome.
Location: In a newer area of town - several nice restaurants, stores & gas stations nearby, including Wal-Mart. Close to I70 but far from the train!!! QUIET!
My daughter and I were in Rifle on business, and the Hampton Inn made us wish we were staying longer! While the Inn is convenient to I70, it was very quiet - we never heard any highway noise whatsoever. There are a number of hotels in Rifle that are close to the train tracks, but the Hampton Inn is in a different area and there was also no train noise as we had experienced during other stays in Rifle at other lodging. The area is newer than where we had stayed before - it felt safe and was well lit, never any concern about getting items from the car, even after dark. Several nice restaurants & stores in this area, too. Our double-queen room was very roomy and immaculately clean. The comfy, white duvet covers were noted as being clean for each guest's stay - and they were so nice we were actually sure that was a true statement! The breakfast started earlier than some places - 6:30 - which was great for our schedule. There were the standard cereal, juices, coffee, rolls/bread & do-it-yourself waffles - but also, 2 staff members were there providing tasty & freshly made single serve size cheese omelets and sausage patties. This was very welcome, since we needed gluten free options, and these are often not available in your standard hotel breakfast offerings. The pool & exercise room were both nice - the only thing that seemed to be missing was a hot tub/spa - a hot soak would have been welcome - but we would totally recommend staying at the Hampton Inn Rifle!

Nice hotel for overnight stay

Nice clean hotel for overnight travel. Normal breakfast, hot and well stocked. Staff helpful in recommending good local restaurant. Would stay here again, if in area.

Nice location, near to local Spring

Traveling through and found this location to be reasonable price and near to area that was more expensive. There are restaurants close by within walking distance.

Nice hotel and it's pretty affordable.

It's located very near I-70. Pretty clean and well maintained hotel at pretty affordable rate. Nothing special, but also nothing terrible for breakfast. I'd recommend it.

Great Service

Posted Jun 27, 2016 on Hotels
Great customer service from staff who was always willing to help. Only bummer is that there is no room fridge. Bottles of water from the hotel shop were a little expensive and we would have liked to have been able to chill our own, especially on a hot weekend like during our stay.
