Mercure Gloucester Bowden Hall Hotel

Bondend Lane Upton St Leonards, Gloucester GL4 8ED - Map
Attended a wedding and stayed the night at this venue, amasing building pretty grounds, lovely room and wonderful hospitality. The staff could not do enough. Even got to see a couple of deer from my bedroom window the following morning. The only down side of the whole experiance was that it was extreamly hot and only a fan and two windows that opened 6 inches, but old buildings like this it was a tiny minus in the grand scale of things.

Great location Clean and comfortable Staff friendly Needed to check in quickly before going to a wedding, check in was slow and then tried to offer me a loyalty card. Understand staff should promote this but I explained I was in a hurry , therefore would hope chap would consider skipping the loyalty card to speed up my check in!
