It was a last minute stay in picturesque NorthLeach. Hotel was so charming and staff were so very helpful. The restaurant was fantastic but my favorite part was the quintessential English buffet in the morning. Just perfect! The room had a stand alone tub, amazing body products and the bed was very ...
We stayed at Barnsley House for my birthday during a 5-day road trip. I’m so glad - it was by far my favourite hotel on the trip, and in fact, one of my favourite hotels anywhere, ever! We were made to feel extremely welcome from the minute we arrived, and I was thoroughly spoilt with little touches ...
We arrived earlier than expected, and I was told check in was at 3 pm, which I knew. However, the rather curt receptionist, made no offer to store our luggage, or fill in my details for a speedy check in later on. All this was completely rectified at our check in by a different young lady, and all ...
Our 6th or 7th visit. the hotel remains in good shape and was tastefully decorated for Christmas. the outdoor and indoor pools remain a lovely experience. The food is high class, although one correctable niggle is that the waiters - who have good person skills - should know considerably more about ...
Anyone reading this should make a note.. don't stay anywhere else if you're heading for the Cotswolds... I can't talk highly enough about East House... Thank you Lauren & Andrew for a lovely weekend..
Simply gorgeous. Right in horse country. Beautiful grounds. Excellent food, sumptuous rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Don't miss this place! I would definitely return, and hopefully stay longer.❤️👍
We arrived after dark and the staff couldn't have been more accomodating. Had a great meal in the dinning room. The room was very comfortable. There was as slight problem with the hot water in the morning but once again the staff worked the problem.
Lovely room. Very thoughtfully knitted out with mini fridge stocked with free drinks, kettle and coffeemaker. The hotel is beautifully decorated and very trendy, but also so comfortable.
Once again, a hotel chosen at random. Couldn't be happier. Close to everything. Great food. Best steak I've had in the UK. Incredible character. Great service. Conspicuous number of South Africans amongst the staff but no mention of rugby. Thank goodness! Wallabies not doing too well ATM. Highly ...
Price reflects the popularity of Stow. More a restaurant/bar with rooms than a hotel as such. Some of the rooms in the old part may be a bit cramped with limited hanging space for some but perfect for a stay for us. Staff are mostly quite young but eager to help.
Lovely boutique hotel with cosy and well-decorated rooms. Breakfast was nice, staff all very helpful and friendly. Lovely gardens to use outside as well.
Everything was charming. We loved it very much. It was a townhouse with 4 or 5 stories and attached to other residental townhouses. (So, it might be difficult to find...) The host was a charming & friendly lady. Some munchies were prepared in a room for free. Traditional english style house had a ...
Stayed here for one night during the recent Jazz Festival. Having been before, new it was an ideal base for such an event. Nick, the owner, is very welcoming, helpful and cooks an unbeatable breakfast - served in a room doubling as an art gallery with views across the heart of town. The room (as ...
The guest house is situated at the centre of the town - a convenient location. Bus stops, major attractions, shops and restaurants are within walking distance. It is run by a friendly family. The family room that we stayed in was cozy and clean (the bathroom a bit small though). Breakfast was cooked ...
Lovely hotel in a superb location but the bed marred the whole experience. As is becoming increasingly popular, the double bed consisted of two single beds pushed together which unfortunately were slightly different heights. The duvet didn't fit the bed properly and the pillows were tiny in comparison ...
