Nice B&BPosted Sep 26, 2015
Cons: Correct website booking details to state you pay when you book.
I enjoyed my stay and would stay again if I return to the area. Aiden and Shelley were very nice and helpful and the included full English breakfast was delicious and convenient. The location is a short walk to a lot of pubs and restaurants. The rooms are stylish, and comfortable but the heat was spotty. I had no issues finding a parking place, but I could see where it might be a problem depending on the time of day. My only gripe was that the website said I could book a room and pay later when I check in. I was traveling for business with two other people so I booked three rooms thinking we could each pay separately. However when we arrived, all three rooms were charged to my credit card and I was told there was no way to change it. Thus my friends had to reimburse me cash instead of being able to pay with their credit card. It was very unexpected, frustrating, and disappointing.

Clean, friendly, welcoming and comfortable.Posted Sep 1, 2015
Pros: Clean, comfortable. Anne and Chris were very welcoming. Small fridge in room useful to store water etc.
Cons: Not keen on electric showers - however not an issue- just a personal preference.
Location: Great location. Very close to main shops - only a 6 min walk. Appreciated parking permit.
Anne and Chris were very welcoming and helpful- thank you. They made us tea as we arrived a little early and our room was not quite ready. Overall - b and b -clean, friendly, welcoming and comfortable. Lovely breakfast.

Pros: Very friendly hosts. Pleasantly presented room. Great breakfast on offer.
Cons: A better mattress would have made the room more comfortable.
Location: Walking - horse-racing (if interested). Easy access to nearby Gloucester.
The whole town is walkable. Easy access to extensive parklands and shopping.

Poorer than expectedPosted Jun 2, 2015 on Hotels
Disappointing for the price. Small room, with cheap wardrobe and plastic fixtures in the ensuite. At breakfast two staff were sitting at one of the tables and discussing catering needs very loudly which spoilt the ambience. Nicely cooked breakfast, but would have expected better quality bread for the toast.
