Love this place. Both my mom and I had a great time there. We got upgraded to a delux suite which has a gorgeous bathroom. The room is spacious with beautiful decorations that resemble the old days. It’s fun to walk around the castle ground and tour the castle building. It has so much history. We ...
Good hotel food excellent bit pricey though. Should have booked directly with hotel would have saved £22.which would of paid for another 2 pints of real ale and 2 gin and tonics (just )
Hotel restaurant serves very nice food. Room clean and comfortable. A bit small but had everything necessary. Within walking distance of race course and town centre. Free parking. I would stay here again.
One of the best hotels I've stopped in, from the minute we arrived till the minute we left aiden and his wife couldn't help enough, and the icing on the cake was the breakfast, first class stay
Quire Court was perfect for our trip to Gloucester to visit my family. I went with my wife and three young daughters and unlike trying to cram everyone into a hotel, we each had our own room, there was a playroom for my daughters, a full kitchen and a lounge to watch TV for me when everyone was asleep. ...
I stayed at here for 2 nights. Clean, cosy, modern bathroom and very friendly staff. Stayed in room 3, as an old converted building a little noisy with other guests above you but ok for short stay.
We used this hotel on recommendation from our friends. We couldn't fault it. The staff were friendly right from the start, the room was lovely, clean and spacious and the little touches like fresh milk made it even better. We would certainly stay again and recommend to friends.
Excellent few days at this hotel with helpful and friendly staff. Room was comfortable and very clean but on the small side. Good breakfast and bar food ( didn’t eat in the restaurant). Beautiful surrounding area with lovely walks
The rooms were a bit dated but comfortable. The hotel does kareoke and a live band Friday and Saturday so could be noisy. But it is a beautiful, historic old building in the pedestrian zone right in the heart of Gloucester. So don't expect the Ritz. Parking is in the local NCP so train may be better. ...
The Suite we had was lovely with a turn down service each night. The hotels lounges are so cosy with log burning fires comfortable chairs and sofas, brilliant attentive staff seeing to all your needs. The dining room is beautiful and the food is fabulous. Once again a wonderful stay in this beautiful ...
The hotel is based around an old manor house and appears to host a fair number of events as well. Being old, the heating is a bit tricky and easy to overheat. We stayed in a lovely room in a newer part of the hotel. It was down a bunch of corridors and up and down a number of steps. I'm sure had ...
The hotel is old and its creaky - if you don't expect that, why go to a 17th century hotel?! View it as a feature and not a problem. The food, service, comforts etc are all superb, but having taken groups to old hotels for many years, I know some always complain about creaky floors.
Stayed before it changed hands. Now really expensive fior drinks very disappointed. Asked for Port after dinner to find that none of 3 bars had any! Prosecco £35 a bottle! It's still a lovely hotel, the reception and new bar area lovely and comfortable. Our room was very clean and comfy but very ...
