Beautiful hotel. Great service. Relaxed atmosphere but stylish and luxurious at the same time. Very dog friendly too. Junior suite with bath in the room was wonderful!

Couldn’t get a hot cup of tea for breakfast, water was in a pump jug and definitely not boiling. Drain in the sink made horrendous noises when our neighbouring rooms showered and poor lighting in bedrooms.

Lovely hotel in great location. Staff were great. Air con wasn’t working properly but still thought 5 star review and these little things happen and I’m sure would be fixed 👍

We couldn’t fault the staff, they were courteous and helpful at all times. The room although large was poorly designed. The lighting was extremely poor day and night. If you wanted to read you needed the overhead spotlights on which were blinding. The balance of lighting was substandard. There were few available sockets. The bottom sheet on the bed were too small so would roll up when in bed.

Needs to get the basics right
The hotel is too dark. Had to use my phone torch to read the breakfast menu. The aircon in my room didn’t work. Not enough plug sockets.

Hotel location is great. I booked a cozy room and it was definitely cozy. It wasn’t quite as upscale as I would have thought. The bed almost felt like it was on the floor. The restaurant was good and the service there was excellent. Overall 4 stars only because my room was pretty basic.

Had a couple of lovely days stay for our Anniversary. Staff were very attentive before and during our stay. We we fortunate to have our room upgraded. It was wonderful, clean, spacious, bath and shower and even a fridge. Very well placed at the best side of Cheltenham. Would definitely stay again.

The location , staff, food were all excellent. Our room was lovely and quiet. The only minor thing we can complain about is that the lighting in the room was poor.

we have stayed before at Malmaison, pleased as ever with the hotel. we had booked a cosy room which was rather small for two people but very clean and comfortable.
