Great overnight or touring base

Posted Nov 23, 2016
Ideal location both for Bourton and the wider Cotswold area. The rooms were very clean with everything we needed including a nice lounge for the evening. Plenty of tea and coffee available in the rooms which was nice. The single rooms weren't huge but suited us and had good ensuing facilities. Would recommend to anyone as it was really good value and we had a pleasant night at the Hotel.

Wonderful b & b

Would have no hesitation in recommending the Landsdown. Fantastic attention to detail, friendly and helpful hosts, comfortable bed, everything spick and span, marvellous breakfast! Just one tiny thing - perhaps some hooks on the bathroom door!

Pros: Friendly welcome. Close to centre Lovely room Excellent breakfasts
Cons: The hosts have got everything right.
Location: There are many Cotswolds tea rooms and antique shops situated along the very pretty River Windrush. Great food at The Rose Tree Restaurant .
This is a lovely guesthouse with very genuine, and friendly hosts, Cheryl and Antony. The room was newly refurbished with a very comfortable bed and tea and coffee making facilities. A great base in Bourton, as a very short walk into the centre of town and close to surrounding Cotswolds villages.

Right in the Cotswolds!

Posted Oct 11, 2016
Pros: Driving around the Cotswolds and walking in the evenings.
Cons: Breakfast was OK. We had better elsewhere and there was some confusion and difficulty with timing of breakfast.
Location: Location is great - kind of in the middle of the Cotswolds but not a busy. One of the quieter areas of town. Central for driving through villages.
The hotel is right in the Cotswolds with easy walking to restaurants and easy driving to all the sites. It was lovely - nice sized room with a desk and a nice bath.
