Cheap hotel that does the business.

It will never be a holiday destination, but if you just want a room for the night and a decent breakfast then it's OK. Staff did Their best and the room was reasonably clean, although a bit of mould in the shower. Very convenient for the hospital and the bus and train stations. My room had a view over the station car park.

Did the job for a one night stay !

Posted Oct 30, 2015
Pros: It was cheap.
Cons: Somewhere to hang jacket. No smoking in no smoking rooms.Ear plugs supplied for traffic noise and soap.
Location: Location within 5 minute walk of town and shops.
Room was small but clean, had clean bed, shower and toilet, Also room had tv, hair drier, no wardrobe, dressing table, traffic noise could be heard , for under £40 per night it was adequate and close to centre of Gloucester and train station. Not sure the wife would like it but served its purpose for my one night stay. on business Staff were helpful and friendly.

Pleasant enough but just don't get a corner room. Traffic so, so loud in morning and with ancient sash windows impossible to sleep after sixish.

A hotel where bed bugs bite!

Awful stay. Came here for two nights but wish I hadn't. Room filthy. Insects and blood on sheets. Had to ask twice to get them to change it and didn't once get an apology. Don't stay here

Right next to the train and bus station!

The reason I picked this hotel is its close proximity to the Gloucester train station, which is one minute from the hotel. The hotel has no lift. It has a bar on the ground floor and only two minutes walk from the bus terminus. There is a multi-storey car park right across the road. The area feels safe at night, and it is 10 minutes walk from Gloucester Cathedral.
