The Pros and Cons Pros Rooms are good Room service was good Nice view from all rooms as they face garden or pool Cons The hotel is situated in by lanes and not on main road so you need a decent 5 minutes walk to find any hire a self driven car or eat at a decent place Breakfast buffet is biggest let down and it needs to be improved drastically as the food taste was not upto mark . Seemed the chef was only adding the dishes to increase the spread but the taste was not upto mark . Overall the spread was also not good enough.

Good size hotel, close to many good restaurants.

Posted Mar 8, 2016
Pros: The hotel was perfectly suited to what we were looking for, comfortable beds & a good choice at breakfast.
Cons: New or laundered mats to go on the beds around the pool and more competitive drinks pricing (this was 4 times price of outside bars).
Location: Beach trips, boat trips and taxi to Anjuna market. The resort is best suited to those who want to do some shopping and enjoy beach life and good food.
The walk to the beach was about 10 minutes, we found the end of the beach closest to us was cleanest. We also found we were close to many of the top rated restaurants on trip advisor and tried many of them! Little shops close buy did water, snacks, phone top up services etc. We were well looked after around the pool and even if breakfast was busy we always got a table.

NICE HOTEL

Posted Dec 29, 2015
Pros: GOOD AND PROMPT SERVICE
Cons: GALA DINNER THEY SHOULD COOK MORE THAN ONE PIGLING , CONSIDER THE NUMBER OF GUESTS
Location: CLOSE TO BEACH AND CALANGUTE
OVERALL GOOD BUT WE HAD BOOKED A DELUXE ROOM AND THEY TRIED TO SHOVE US INTO A SUB DELUX ROOM NOTWITHSTANDING THE BOOKING NOTE CLEARLY STATED DELUXE BUT OF COURSE THEY WERE GRACIOUS TO CHANGE WHEN POINTED OUT , BUT THE FRONT DESK SHOULD BE AWARE OF WHAT THEY ARE GIVING THE CLIENT WHEN THE BOOKING NOTE IS SPECIFIC NO OTHER ISSUES, GOOD EXPERIENCE STAYING HERE

Nice but needs improvement

Posted Oct 28, 2015
Pros: Location, Pool
Cons: room door makes sound even if closed properly (security buzzer sound), Pool doesnt have towels till 2pm, they dont allow pool towels at rooms. Room do
Location: close to Candolim beach and Beach road which has lot of places to Shop/Eat.
Overall hotel is good, location is nice. However needs a few improvements like - room door makes sound even if closed properly (security buzzer sound), Pool doesnt have towels till 2pm, they dont allow pool towels at rooms. Room doesnt have shelves in the drawers to keep clothes, buffet was not upto the mark and breakfast was equally sad. Service at breakfast hall needs improvement - had to call for simple thing like water 3-4 times.

An excellent staying option !!

Posted Sep 28, 2015
Pros: Deluxe Room is too good for the rate they charged. Staff is attentive and courteous. Swimming pool is well maintained.
Cons: Buffet Breakfast was average. No proper recreation center.
Location: Candolim, Calangute Beach and other places in North Goa.
It was an amazing stay. Value for money. Will return again.

Good hotel - great location

Posted Jan 2, 2015
Pros: The location was excellent - set back from the busy main street so peaceful - yet the choice of many restaurants, shops and close to the beach
Cons: A bit expensive for the areas at christmas
One of the more up market hotels in the area. A higher standard that we expected for the area. The rooms were perfect - had two joining double rooms so was excellent for us as a family with two kids. The pool was nice, but spoilt slightly with brits and towels on sun beds from 6am! The staff were helpful and efficient.

Quiet and away from the busy main road

Posted Nov 30, 2014
Pros: Nice quiet hotel and position away from the hustle and bustle of candolim
Cons: The beds and pillows were too hard. Toilet paper was awful. The bed linen wasn't the best and neither were the towels. The breakfast was awful.
Location: Located away from hustle and bustle of candolim but only a five minute walk to the centre and 10 mins walk to the beach
This hotel isn't the best in the world but by Goan standards it's probably good

Lovely 4 star hotel with attentive service

Posted Oct 28, 2014
Pros: Hotel clean and had everything you needed - great attentive service, bar, large pool with plenty of sun loungers and a gym. Food is good. Garden nice.
Cons: More parasols by pool to provide more shade would be good (only 2). Gym is limited but there is enough for a workout. Breakfast is same every day.
Location: 5 min walk takes you to main drag where there's loads of bars, restaurants, shops, chemists, beauticians. further 5 mins and you're on beach.
This was ideal for a relax and unwind holiday. Guests were mixed so ideal for all - couples, families, students, young and old. Staff were amazing especially Sandeep in the restaurant - you'll recognise him immediately - just look for the biggest smile! Deepak and Rupak who you'll find at the pool can't do enough for you - they ensure that you're comfortable at the pool and have everything you need. They were especially great with the children ensuring they were safe at all times. Parmjit in the bar was happy to chat and provided great service. They made a great holiday fantastic! Top marks to all the staff who were so friendly.

Excellent neoclassical Hotel. True value for money

Posted Apr 14, 2014
This property is a well known and appreciated one almost on the southern tip of North Goa, a walking distance from the Candolim beach. The aesthetics of the Hotel are neoclassical and carry a touch of the Portuguese architecture, antique-look but very well-kept Furniture and due care for comfort of the guests. Services are really good. Staff is friendly and very cooperative. Breakfast spread is lavish and delicious. A good number of foreign travellers we met at the Hotelbhad bookings for two weeks or more. The Fort Aguada - Baga Road close to the Hotel offers excellent eateries of all tastes. Most of the restaurants are decorated in the style of Beach Shacks but offer wonderful food with great hospitality and live music performances by evening. We thoroughly enjoyed our seven day stay at the Hotel and look forward to a come-back sometime in the future.
