A comfortable and quiet property

Posted Feb 8, 2017 on Hotels
A nice comfortable property which is away from hustle bustle of North Goa yet about 10 min ride from primary touristy places. We loved staying here, it is very different from a usual hotel set up but had all the facilities to make stay comfortable. Loved the decor of the room. My 5 year old enjoyed the pool and we enjoyed the quiet surroundings.I wish breakfast had more options.

An oasis

Posted Dec 28, 2016
Pros: The staff, as well as the owners, are the reasons the hotel is beyond 4 stars. They go above and beyond to make your stay safe and comfortable.
Cons: Adding a variety of breakfast items could be improved.
Location: The location is far from the beach but transportation to and from the beach or anywhere for that matter is not an issue.
The pick up from the airport was seamless despite the delayed flight. The check in was quick. The rooms were cleaned daily, bed turned down every night, the sheets were white and soft, the towels were also white and clean. The breakfast served daily has a nice touch to it. Transportation was never an issue. The staff were polite and quiet. The owners were helpful. The hotel in itself was quiet, except for the birds chirping and the occasional shriek of monkeys. I wish the TV had more variety in their international channels.

Happy stay.

Posted Nov 11, 2016
Pros: The staff were helpful.
Location: Close to the beach.
Pros: free transport to the hotel as we stayed for 4 nights.Helpful hotel staff who addressed any issues quickly.Jiten @ reception was particularly helpful. Breakfast was fine.Evening meals satisfactory. Quiet location. The hotel fixed us up with a driver to show us around Goa. Cons: poor lighting in the bathroom owing to an electrical fault but we had been offered alternative accommodation to compensate. No water on x2 occasions from the taps but this was also addressed quickly.

We loved the place and the ambience

Posted Oct 26, 2016
Pros: We loved the place and the ambience. The staff were very kind and polite.
Cons: The recommended driver by the hotel charges were very high compared to what we paid when we took taxis from Baga Beach to the hotel. I would suggest take a taxi from Baga Beach instead of booking him and asking to wait for you. Much much cheaper. Even though we wanted to ring for a taxi as recommended by the kind lady yet one of the hotel staff insisted we used this driver when she was away from the reception...hmmmm
Location: Location isn't too far from Baga beach or Arjuna Beach. If you like peace and quiet, this is the place EXCEPT for the loud barking of the dogs at nite

Lovely hotel, lovely stay.

Posted Oct 23, 2016
Location: Head to Candolim for restaurants or alternatively the nicer area of Anjuna where they also have a great market (ask hotel for best days) Beaches !
I did the intrepid 30 days north and south of India. Seeing as our last stop was in Goa, I wanted to add 4 days to relax and explore Goa for a few days more. I chose PRESA Di Goa and I'm so happy I did. I stayed in the boutique Portuguese influenced hotel and enjoyed every bit of it. My room was Lotus, a deluxe single room. It was clean, from the plush shower/bathroom ( a luxury in India!)and gorgeous quaint bedroom. My bed was a four poster high bed and I felt like a princess in it. The balcony didn't have a stunning view but it was pleasant and private enough of the palm trees a nearby neighbourhood Street. The facilities were satisfactory: a/c, TV, closet space, desk and fan. What was great was that as soon as you shut the balcony doors the room could be completely dark (great for light sleepers who don't want to be awoken by sun) There's a great pool by the outdoor restaurant. The hotel staff were lovely and helpful especially when it came to asking questions about markets etc. There is a shuttle service (only permits one return journey a day) but make sure you specify where you are going becUse if it's out of the Calangute /Baga beach zone then you will be charged. I often found cheaper alternatives by heading to the main road (5 minutes walk left out of the hotel) it really shouldn't be more than 300 -400 rupees to most places within 5- 15 km and auto rickshaw's will take you for less. Thanks to staff: receptionist Jiten, breakfast Sohan, Mithien and young Kahnie

Fantastic old style hotel with swimming pool & excellent food menu. Very nice & helpful staff nothing was too much trouble. Liked the free transfers from the airport to hotel & back again which eased our journey. Also free trips to local beach resorts were great. If u want to visit local attractions a taxi can be arranged for very reasonable cost. I loved the hotel & location & would recommend to anyone who wants to see Goa. I want to return sometime.

Boutique with personalized service

Posted May 17, 2016
Pros: Cleanliness, quiet, service, staff, area.
Cons: hot water and hot water pressure. The first room I had they fixed the hot water temperature and it got really hot.
Location: Quiet area. Within 10 minutes of the coastal beach area. Vegetable market at the end of the road. Small market a few buildings over.
Eduardo and Jitun were always most helpful. When I had an issue with the AC in the first room I was given, I was moved into the owners suite. The AC was ice cold in minutes. When I mentioned my mattress was too hard, they provided a great cushion pad and I slept great every time. Comfy pillows, clean rooms, clean grounds. Complimentary well rounded breakfast and the other meals I had there were good, too. Complimentary beach shuttle from 10 am to 6 pm. The location is close to the main roads, but in a very quiet and safe area. A small market and vegetable market within walking distance. Small refreshing pool with nice loungers, towels and umbrellas. Whenever I needed something, the staff was most accommodating. The only issue I had was with the hot water and hot water pressure.

Very relaxing stay

Great place to stay, and very relaxing. The accommodation and food were excellent and the staff were very helpful. We were travelling as a family of four (two teenage children) and it was our first holiday in India.
