The staff were extremely polite and professional especially some of the waiting staff at the restaurant. Overall, a clean and pleasant place to stay. However, there were quirks to this place. It may be because we were there during off-peak season. We purposefully chose this place as we were looking for a mid-range place with WIFI access. When we got there, the receptionist (politely) insisted there were none, the next day we complained to Hotels.com which came back to us assuring us that the management of this place has guaranteed there was WIFI access. There were none. We asked again and after a 20 minute grilling, the receptionist said yes and gave us a password, but there were no network to connect to. We gave up.
One thing to consider is the location of this resort, it is a fair way to any beach or site which means there is a bit of a transport monopoly thing happening there. You are able to walk to the main street to hail a tuk tuk/taxi though. There are also limited free shuttle buses to the nearest beach, make sure you book 1/2hour before the time of departure on the timetable.
