“Pool not open. There are never any towel bars. Extremely annoying. Wouldn’t it be cheaper to install bars so guests could hang towels up and maybe you’d save laundry costs in the long run.”

“Convenient location”

“The air conditioning unit in the room didn't work so we were very warm. As well, the towel rack was hanging by a thread on the wall so it would fall every time. Also, no elevator which I guess because it's a historical building they are not allowed to put one in but it's a lot of stairs.”

“Newly refurbished rooms I believe. They were painting the outside. We never had a chance to check out the indoor pool but saw that it was much bigger than most hotel pools. The room was clean. Checking in was painless. Parking was plentiful even though we had to park off to the side as we were in a room upstairs. Comfortable ling sized bed.We stayed 2 nights on our roadtrip. I would go back again.”

“The Inn is quaint and has so much history, but it is need of some TLC and updating. The gardens and front entrance needs weeding and trimming. There is no elevator and the stairs have carpeting that is worn through. Our bathroom had an old, deep Jacuzzi tub with a wooden step to get in it. There was no bath matt which made it very slippery. It was almost impossible to get out of. We used it only one day if our two night stay. There was no storage in the bathroom - just a bench and pedestal……

“The Ashwood Inn is a lovely place to stay in Central Huron. It’s very close to Grand Bend, Goderich and Bayfield. Many of the best beaches on Ontario’s West Coast are just minutes away. I would highly recommend staying here as the rooms are spacious, it’s very quiet, and the staff were very helpful.”

“We were so impressed by Dreamz Hotel - the management has thought of every single detail to make sure you are comfortable. Everything was very clean, staff was always veey nice and willing to help, and the grounds were stunning - We have never stayed at a place where they put so much heart and soul into having a lovely garden with beautiful flowers, and swings, hammock etc. It was a beautiful touch. “We stayed in an apartment at South Shore Suites and had an excellent experience. The place was spotless, very clean, and well maintained. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the air conditioning was a great plus during our stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, and we appreciated the thoughtful detail of having coffee available for the coffee maker. We also enjoyed the gas BBQ, which is very convenient since you don’t have to worry about charcoal. The pool was great, and the overall……
