Resort? Yes if you golf or went to the spa

The area is beautiful, the golf course was well maintained, the dining area (for breakfast & dinner) felt special (like you were eating out at a nice place), the layout of the rooms was unique (with the private patio overlooking the golf course & a few step downs to enter the sitting area). But the "hotel" experience was not "resort'ish" - basic towels (if they remembered to leave you a wash cloth), bar of soap & bottle of shampoo, basic bedding you would find in a Best Western & they charged you if you made coffee in your room). So the area was a resort, but the room was just a hotel.
