Beautiful place to stay! Great amenities with 2 large pools, within close walking distance to Tedder Ave where there is shopping and restaurants and of course main beach! Building Management were lovely, welcoming and friendly! Would highly recommend staying here! Unit was a bit dated but it was clean, tidy and ample amount of space! Thank you to the Contessa for a wonderful holiday.

The dry machine not worked when I was there , everything else is good , very good location , can walk to beach and shops , very well maintained and clean apartment, love the outdoor pool which is big and warm spa

I like the location but the room on the first day doesn’t have hot water and our wifi was unreasonably disconnected on the first and last night of our stay.

To our valued guest, thanks so much for your comments. We discovered the hot water spindle in the apartment was turned off which rectified that problem immediately. We are at a loss to know why it was of. The WIFI did not work on your arrival which we apologize for. This was fixed in the morning. The disconnection was automatic after seven days. Beautiful rental apartment in quiet but beautiful area one block from a great beach and apartments sufficiently high up have magnificent views of the coastline.

The indoor pool was fantastic! we didn't have great weather so made wonderful use of indoor pool and spa. The outdoor pool was large and the grounds were immaculate. The only downside was no BBQ - easily fixed.

Hotel was nice- room spacious and ideal for our purpose. Lovely sea view. Swimming pool great for the little one. Ideally situated in a lovely area that doesn’t feel too ‘holiday resort’. Cockroaches in bathroom but that’s Australia! Aircon not working in bedroom- had to manually reset outside every time. No hangers in any wardrobes.

The property is located at the Main beach which is a prime area. Short stroll to the beach, park, cafes & tram stop should you wish to roam around. This well equipped & managed building has 35 levels with undercover car park has indoor & outdoor pool, spa, sauna, gym & tennis court. We were at the 25th level with sea facing view which was simply spectacular. The rooms are clean, has fully equipped kitchen, central Air condition, TV w foxtel and laundry facilities that makes your stay comfy. In short a luxurious apartment with a view & ample of amenities.

The apartment was well furnished and stocked. It was very clean. The thing that absolutely sold it to us, was the stunning view. Waking up to it every morning was incredible. When we come back to the G.C, we will be staying here again. Free parking was also a bonus.

Contessa i considered to be of excellent value.The staff were be friendly and helpful, the unit very comfortable and clean, the indoor swimming pool was wonderful, and the beach and light rail only a few minutes walk away.i cant wait to return.

Staff super friendly and happy to help out. We accidentally locked our keys in the room and the manager came in from home to get us in. He was very pleasant even on his day off.

The irons didn't work. One had paint coming of the ironing plate and the other one didn't work. Not a big fan of tv checked out the foxtel and it didn't work ether. eg It would not register.

When you come and stay in the future please come and see reception to reports these as we are always happy to have the items replaced if needed or to get them to work for you. Foxtel should have worked had we known the manager would have gone straight up and fixed the issue. Be great to see you again.

The hotel was ok on price great location however run down they even painted around the couch on this one crazy so ugly. Our biggest complaint is the cleaners ate my birthday cake, thinking we had left however it was a $60 cake barely touched, the ate a quarter of it and the chocolate specialty pieces ate all of them. I was gobsmacked at first but really this should never happen to imagine if you left jewelry would they keep it or hand it in mmmmmm...

However, when the office was notified of the incident we addressed this with the housekeeping company owner and was dealt with immediately as per our discussion so it won't ever happen again. The Contessa Apartments offer beautiful apartments with generally excellent views. The apartment I stayed in this year was clean and the appliances in the apartment worked well. The manager and staff are very helpful and friendly. Very highly recommended.

Great quiet spot, huge apartment, fabulous views
He apartment had obviously been sitting empty for a little while because it had that musty “no one has opened a window in ages” smell but it was still very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. The view was incredible, the apartment was enormous, and the location is great, just a quick 5 minute walk to main beach along quiet streets. You can see the city, the hinterland ranges, and the ocean from the windows and balcony so you really do get it all. The pools are fabulous and lots of parking inside or free street parking if you have more than 1 car with you.

The 3 brm apartment needs new carpet as there is a smell in the whole apartment. Also, it wasn't cleaned properly as there was hair on the floors and rubbish in the kitchen bin....smelt terrible.

It Faces north and would get very hot in Summer. Facilities onsite are excellent and location and proximity to beach and restaurants also good. Lifesaving club close by as well as Southport Yaught club and marina Mirage.

We stayed here when visiting the Commonwealth Games and paid exorbitantly for a very tired room. The location and facilities were great but the room itself was so outdated and dusty we needed allergy medication to stay in it.

The location of the hotel was great but the service was very poor. No internet at all, poor TV signal for local channels, no staff to contact as reception was closed all 4 days that we stayed, the rooms wall were damaged due to the door, oven in the kitchen wasn't working, the fridge wasn't clean and overall the service was very poor.

Was ok. Some blinds were broken or not working. Can't see why they wouldn't be replaced at $350 a night and you have to have the place tidy when you leave. These are probably owned by different people so i can only comment on the 3 bedroom apartment we stayed in. Honestly it was fine and nice enough.

A spacious apartment. Which was well stocked with cooking utensils, pots , pans, cutlery etc. Aircon only in main area, ceiling fans in the bedrooms. Lights overall very dim. Master bedroom no over head light only lamps. Easy walk to shops and cafes. Shame indoor pool being renovated and no mention of it on booking sites. Outdoor pool and spa were great though,

Great holiday
We had a wonderful 8 days at Contessa Condominiums. Great facilities, friendly staff and an excellent location just one block from the beach. Also walking distance from cafes and restaurants.
