Property is uniquely located. Place was full of guests and only one place to eat on a Saturday night - food choices were minimal. We ordered to eat in and they brought out takeaway so we did - but no condiments for the dishes. Cafe was shut, pizza oven not working and quite obviously the place was well understaffed for the volume of guests.

Ok the staff were absolutely amazing. Very friendly and very helpful. We had to wait 1.5 hours for the room to be ready after I was told it would be ready by the time we arrived at 1pm only to find when we got to the room which we were charge for the buggy to take us to the room that was 1.5km away from reception we couldn’t get in as the key was wrong. The other door wasn’t even locked. The Eco cabin was still dirty. The fans were disgusting. Dust on ledges, dirt on walls, the toilet kept running- had to double tap for it to stop. Only one toilet roll was left for 5 ladies for 3 days. No broom or mop to keep the floors clean. To lock one door we had to use a broom handle in the tracks. Up around reception and pool area was all lovely and clean, tidy but once you get down when we were staying it was very run down which was disappointing after the price we paid to stay. We walked over to surf beach/ club on the beach only to find it was closed for renovations and that was a 1.2 km walk. Sunset bar was absolutely amazing and the guy behind the bar was awesome. I would of loved to of seen this place 5 years ago. $70 to take an esky over and back is pretty bloody expensive if you ask me.

The island is superb, very tranquil. The concept of the property is fantastic & it has so much potential however the way the property is being managed is extremely disappointing.
