Well worth it in comparison to some other places nearby.

Very DisappointedPosted Sep 2, 2014 on Hotels
Likes..the hotel is opposite the beach and is walking distance into Cavil Avenue. Dislikes...we stayed in room 706. The furniture on the balcony was extremely dirty as well as the glass sliding doors. There was no curtain in the bathroom. The cushions on the dining room chairs we very stained. There were numerous chipped and cracked tiles on the floor. The pillows cases were stained. We spoke to the managers on checking out and they were not interested in our issues. Don't be fooled by the photos you see in the internet of the hotel. Shop around as there are hundreds of other hotels to stay choose from.

Good location ... sorry but poor servicePosted Aug 30, 2014
Cons: lots.... lifts need upgrade, some fragrance system will be nice to make the room feel fresh.
Location: Good location, everything is within reach
Less then half of roll of toilet paper provided, when asked if I can get more was told to go buy myself, I expected at least one full roll to start with. Smelly appartments, lifts are super slow. Coffee cups had stains at the bottom. Broken chair at the balcony, room door did not close through the glide.... had to pull it to make sure its closed. Staff that check me in and out were good at customer service but the others I spoke to in other shift were not.

Very basic accomodationPosted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: Staff were very helpful.
Cons: Maybe up grade the rooms as they are in dire need of a good makeover
Location: Beach was very close and shops were easy walk
had ot move from the 14th floor to the 2nd due to no wi fi at that level. Staff were very helpful. Very basic accommodation if you are looking for something at budget level this is ok.

Pros: Close enough to walk to heart of Surfers Paradise, but far enough away to miss the crowds and noise. Beach directly across the road.
Location: Close to everything
Facilities: Good; Value: Great deal; Service: Friendly; Cleanliness: Pleasant; Close to the new Light Rail System. Handy for Gold Coast Marathon

Great location, great view and comfortable room.Posted Apr 24, 2014 on Hotels
Our stay at Equinox was very comfortable. Great location, excellent views. Our room was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. Walking distance to shops and beach close by. The only suggestion is that the bathroom door should be a slider or concertina, to make more room. Otherwise…great place.

Nice hotel close to Main beachPosted Apr 23, 2014
Cons: Utensils provided in the apartment had seen better days. Might be worth getting a few of the older stuff replaced.
The place was nice , clean and comfy. Not anything luxurious but worth the money you pay. Decently priced, friendly staff and well maintained. The laundry was shared by 3/4 apartments in the floor otherwise everything was very good. Definitely going back again (hopefully will get a better deal next time :) )

Convenient for...Posted Feb 3, 2014
Pros: Very convenient
Location: The beach is right across the street, great for those wanting to see a great sunrise and walk on the beach. About a 20min from the mall
.. the active traveler as well as those who just want to kick back. Had an awesome stay, though spent most of the times exploring Gold coast and swimming at the beach. It was always nice to return to this place for a good rest or to chill in the spa pool. Very friendly management team!

Pros: Double studio was a great size for family of 4. Across the road from Narrowneck Beach.
Cons: No shops or restaurants nearby. Unit is about halfway between central Surfers & Southport. 20 min walk to Tedder Ave restaurants.
Location: Good views
Facilities: Above average; Value: Economical; Service: Friendly; Cleanliness: Spick and span; MacIntosh Island Park is a really nice park and only 5 mins walk.
