Worth the drive!

I loved the location - just far enough away from town, 14 km down a mountain road in one of the most beautiful parts of the Rockies. Away from it all, surrounded by mountains, trees, wildlife; it was peaceful, perfectly remote and yet every comfort was available. Lots of hot water, wifi and the most beautiful stars you've ever seen. The hike to Wapta Falls is spectacular. The sauna was amazing after a day of skiing. Raph and the crew (and of course Bowser, Sasha, and the horses) were friendly, helpful, and great hosts. I felt at home and had a wonderful stay. I can't recommend a stay at Beaverfoot Lodge highly enough. I'll definitely be back.
