The location of this property is one of the best in the world. A very special place on earth! The room we stayed in was not well kept or modernized. The staff were all pleasant but lacked direction and oversight that would reflect the level required for a property priced at this level. This property could be so much more if it was managed properly and had the right amount of capital investment.

It was very unfortunate that we could not walk around the property due to the poor maintenance of the paths. Extremely icy with no care given to improve it. Asked twice to have path sanded, no action. Food was not good and extremely over priced. Will not be returning.

Beautiful location but not worth the stay. We can here for our honeymoon and we both were really disappointed with the lodge. We had no water for a good portion of our stay (no tap, no toilet, no showers from 8:00am-4:00pm) and the hot tub and sauna wasn't open at all for guest use. The only food option was Mount Burgess (and kicking horse but they are literally have the exact same items and no real lunch options) as Cilantro was closed (even though in their advertisements they say warm up in the winter). The lack of food options was disappointing given you are not allowed to bring up your own food or beverages. You couldn't even get a coffee to go. Overall not worth the money, especially when you can just park in the day use and walk around.
