“The property is a cosy and homey log cabin hotel. Rooms were great and all the little extra touches were very nice. We will definitely stay there again and would recommend to friends and family. A true gem.”
“Great cozy lodge! The staff and owners were very friendly and helpful. Continental breakfast was provided. The entire felt historic, rooms were cozy, and the views you get from the rooms and the breakfast dining room was amazing. Parking was slightly uneasy as there wasn’t markings outside of the lodge, during peak or busy summer times, if all the rooms are occupied, be prepared that the parking space outside he property will all be occupied too. Driving into the lodge was a long 80km/h road……
“The hotel room is large and clean, with a microwave and small pantry and cutlery. However the bathtub is a bit small comparatively. The hair dryer needs to be requested from the office but the opening hour is until 10pm so it will be a bit troublesome if you arrive later than that. Also you may be hearing noises from nearby rooms so consider if you are sensitive to noises during your sleep.”
“It was mostly clean, but the lighting inside was poor; I had to move the coffee maker to the bathroom to plug it in so we could have coffee. Could not plug in my laptop except on the floor or in the bathroom. A little electrical updating would do lots. We like the location and felt relaxed.”
“The hotel is down a logging road 13 miles from the highway, as far as logging roads go it is in good shape. There is no restaurant at the hotel, so bringing your own food is a must.
I did not stay at the hotel as I was travelling on a motorcycle and the prospect of travelling back down a logging road early in the morning was not appealing, so I returned to find another hotel that offered full service.
I would say that Expedia could have laid out in more detail where the hotel was located as had……
