Clean, comfortable, friendly

I travel a lot and stay in hotels often. This was my first stay at a La Quinta and I was impressed. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, the room was large, very clean and comfortable. I will be staying at La Quinta in the future. Wonderful place to stay!

Attended conference at CSM

Conference summarized gold & silver deposits along the Colorado Mineral Belt. Met new folks and led a field trip to Leadville.

Expedia overbooking

Expedia overbooked the motel so I didn't get the room I booked. I was supposed to bet a King bed and ended up with 2 fulls.

The lady at the desk was incredibly helpful and nice. Our room was nice and clean. The bathroom, on the other hand, was a disappointment. It was small and the shower had mildew on the tile. Location was perfect distance from our concert at Red Rocks.

Hotel of convenience

The staff were the best part of the hotel. The air conditioner (a wall unit that was suuuper loud) was broken one of the employees came up right after I called and fixed it but the thing would go on for 2 mins the off for 20 and it was so loud you couldn't hear the tv. The bedding was dirty and I didn't even consider using the shower. I never write reviews but felt compelled to let people know how run down and gross it was.

Pretty room, comfortable bed.

The room was nice. Bed was cozy. Only complaint is the quality of the "Continental" breakfast. It consists of waffles, cereal, bread and bagels. Oh and muffins! Luckily Denny's is next door. Also the coffee maker in the room was dirty on the inside with hair and something sticky. Also there was one tiny bottle of shampoo provided. So definitely bring your own. Otherwise​ it was very quiet and the staff was polite.
