Nice, Clean, Convenient, Crappy Pillows.

Pros: almost everything.
Cons: The super cheap, crappy pillows!
Location: Easy on and off freeway, several restaurants and fast food nearby.
Very nice hotel, clean, comfortable, easy on/off interstate, appears to have recently been refurbished. Staff was very helpful and courteous, several dining options nearby. With all this, why did they feel it was necessary to go "uber-cheap" on the pillows? Go figure, it cost them a "5".

Pillows and Sofa loads are not the same

It’s one of the worst hotels I stayed in. Nothing positive . Motels are better than this hotel. The beds and pillows are terrible.The room and surroundings are bad. AC didn’t work. Hotel staff is good though

Price was right

The price was right for what we were looking for. It was also right off the highway and convenient for what we needed to get to. Check in process was slow because they only had one person working but attendant was pleasant and helpful.

Everything was great. I try to stay a La Quinta .I travel for work and they are the best for the money

red rocks

did not look like a LaQuinta, looked like a painted red roof in. No microwave, no refridgerator, no hair dryer.

Our Double Deluxe Rooms and King Rooms come with microwaves and refrigerator - I apologize if there was a miscommunication on that. Thank you for letting me know about the absence of a hair dryer! All of our rooms should have one. I've already let my maintenance team know so we can get that resolved quickly. I hope next time you're in Golden you'll consider staying with us again!

Wanted a room close to a concert venue.

Pros: Quaint looking, nice exterior with lots of trees.
Cons: Price, as this one pretty old with very small rooms and very small bathrooms.
Location: Location was reason we chose this hotel, close to the Red Rocks concerts.
Tried a different La Quinta hotel during the past summer and was very happy. Should have gone back to that one for the same price the prior one had, much bigger, nicer room and also a refrigerator and microwave. This older one was disappointing.

TV was not working when arrived....maintenance got it fixed while we were at dinner!

Hotel fulfilled basic needs. King room was comfortable. Bathroom area a bit too small for two people. Breakfast was ok. Staff was very pleasant.
