Nice hotel, easy access off highway

Hotel is easy to find and has a lot of amenities close by. Rooms are comfortable. The staff are incredibly friendly. This is the 2nd time in 2 months we have stayed here. Good continental breakfast. The only complaint would be loud doors. They need some weather stripping to ease the slam of doors.

Good hotel with a comfortable bed and yummy breakfast. Need to do something about the noise coming out from the hotels computer room and maid supply room. Fortunately, I couldn't hear the noise when my door was closed and when the computer room door was closed on the 3rd floor.

For a quick overnight stay this was a outstanding value! Clean, updated, free happy hour, and great amenities like a gym and free newspaper!!

Good for the price, but wouldn't pay over $75 for

Pros: For some reason, this website won't let me fill in the "rating" boxes.
Cons: When you do renos, add sound insulation.
Basic amenities. Room was a bit small for a King. However it was clean and neat, and we are just sleeping here, right. Breakfast location was really nice. My wife's comment, "here is were they spend their money". Staff kept it clean. In seconds after someone left, they cleaned the table. Even though the guests had taken their garbage, the staff were there to wipe the table. There was a staff person assigned to the breakfast bar. Included "hot" options. Eggs and sausages as well as make your own waffles. Our biggest complaint. Walls weren't see through, but certainly "hear" through. They certainly didn't spend money on sound insulation. Patry next door (across the street) was really annoying. Kept up Saturday night till about 1 a.m. Then about 3 a.m. Sunday a.m., the girl (Teen or young adult) bawled for about an hour. Other than noise, bed was very comfortable. Room was clean and neet. Staff were exceptionally helpful. If we ever stay here again, we will ask for a room in the wing away from the Bar and Grill next door.

Disappointment

We booked a room at this hotel for one of our new employee traveling out of state. He arrived at 2:30am and was unable to check in as he didn't have his credit card available. Our company paid for the room in full in advance, however the front desk person stated that he had to have a credit card on file as $100 security deposit was needed. I called and spoke with him on the phone, asking him kindly if I could provide my credit card info (which was already on file) and if there was anything he could do to resolve this issue. To say he was rude and not accommodating would be an understatement. Long story short, I had to drive to the hotel at 3AM so our new employee would be able to get to his room. Upon my arrival the front desk clerk did everything he possibly could to slow the process. It took him at least 20 to give the room key and complete check in. He was the meanest person I've ever seen. Needless to say he didn't offer any apology for the inconvenience.

Thank you for giving us your feedback! Our hotel requires valid credit/debit card to check in. It is stated on Expedia/Hotels.com website. Of course I understand the inconvenience it have caused you and I am very sorry about that. For security of our guests we can not charge someone's credit card over the phone. Again, I am very sorry that you had to come out here in person, but this is the only way to pay for the room without proper authorization. Again, thank you for your feedback.

We had the handicap room which was so nice for Mother. The handicap shower was awesome and worked very well for our needs.

Office away from the office

Pros: The staff and the multiple locations for power supplies throughout the hotel.
Cons: Leave the beverage bar open all day maybe?
Location: Mall of America is a $20 Uber ride away.
I only spent one night, and the hotel staff treated me like I was a frequent guest from the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out. There were more places to plug in my devices, laptop, etc. than I needed, which is a good thing! The room was spacious, clean, quiet and comfortable. The elevators ran right next to my room, and while I did hear it, it wasn't so loud that it bothered me.
