Cheap place to rest your headPosted Nov 12, 2013 on Hotels
The staff is very friendly and the price is really good. The room and decoration is very dated. The place could use a little paint, which would really help. It's a little noisy since it's located near the railroad tracks and on the other side it's next to 95. It really is just a place to sleep.

Comfortable and easyPosted Aug 12, 2013
I've stayed at the Days Inn, Kenly on two separate occasions, once in 2011 and once in 2012 on the way from the DC area to Hillton Head, SC. The front desk staff were very friendly and easygoing. The pool was open quite late and very clean. The room was what one would expect for an inexpensive motel, not flashy, but clean. The location is a good one for us, just off of I-95 (smack on top of the southbound lanes actually, but we had no issues with road noise). Being only a few exits north of Smithfield and the outlets is handy, as that is a perennial stop for my family. Overall a good experience two years running.

It was ok for a place to just sleep and change clothes.
