It was a good for one day staying there.

Pros: Quite place!
Cons: I would like to see more flowers in the area.
Location: No contest.
I really liked the atmosphere of hotel because it was very quite that i needed.

Pretty setting. Close to local attractions.

Pros: We liked the setting and the proximity to local attractions.
Cons: The included breakfast was a bit ho hum. More options and better quality menu items would be nice, but overall, it was acceptable.
Location: The hotel is close to beaches, parks, shopping, and the university.
We were quite comfortable in our spacious room. It was nice having a separate living room.

Will return. Good breakfast & close to beach.

Spacious rooms and very nice lobby. Hotel serves a hot breakfast (fast cooks) and happy hour (bartender was a very pleasant lady). Only big drawback is the small bathrooms. We rented a 2 bed suite. Given the room rate, the tub, showers, fixtures, basin, etc all need to be updated & enlarged. I’m a hotel owner myself & stayed at the Pacifica with my family & our dog. Very pet friendly!

hotel should b much better

Pros: separated rooms for sofa and bedroom.
Cons: better clean up.
Toilet has some stains or something like "waste"; celling of sink area looks pretty old (some is already worn out). breakfast is provided by ticket and cooked by someone but the portion is very small - I could eat three times of the same portion.

A Home Away From Home

Pros: Roomy, lovely view, great breakfast.
Cons: Microwave in the room.
We were evacuated from our home due to the Thomas fire and stayed at Pacifica for several nights. Because of air quality in the region we had to stay inside. The room was spacious and allowed us to spread out a bit. The garden view was lovely. The included "cooked to order" breakfast was excellent. One day we experienced a power outage and they even managed to cook our breakfast with no power. There was a small refrigerator in the room, but I wished for a microwave so we could bring in food to heat rather than having to go out for every meal. They had room service but it was pretty much Italian food, which is OK for a meal or two. The staff was very nice and helpful. It became a "home away from home" during a very stressful time.

Sadly I am not allowed to post a review about expenses In walking distance to nothing but desert, 8 miles to downtown Santa Barbara.

UCSB parents weekend retreat

Had 2 consecutive reservations.. no problem, staff accommodating. Room just fine, with very good bed. Perfect for UCSB parents visiting. Excellent breakfast with cook to order options. Way more than we expected.
