Great position!

Posted Apr 29, 2017
Pros: We loved the position right on the front, the staff were great, and the rooms excellent.
Cons: The only thing I can think of would be the tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Also instructions on how to use the air conditioning.
Location: Great location! Right opposite from the ferry jetty to go to Portofino, less than 5 minutes walk to the railway station and a bus stop right outside.
We stayed here for 3 nights having carefully chosen using various sites to read the reviews etc. There's a space outside to park while checking in and then we were able to move the car to the hotel's garage just up the road. The site quotes 30 euros per day but they only charged us 20 euros which given that parking in the car park opposite was 2.50 per hour this was a bargain! The receptionists greeted us warmly and spent a lot of time with us showing where to go and the best things to do. We had arrived mid afternoon so had the rest of the day to amble about the town and decide where to eat that night. The hotel doesn't do evening meals but the breakfast buffet was very nice. Our room was on the 2nd floor, and we were surprised to find it was a suite with a sitting room and dining table at the front which faced the sea, and the bedroom and bathroom at the back. This was ideal as the back of the hotel is much quieter than the front which is on the road. Everyday we had clean sheets which was amazing, and the beds were extremely comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small but again wasn't a problem. There aren't any tea making facilities in the rooms but we asked for a kettle and one was instantly provided. There is also a kitchenette but this was locked, also the room has a sofa bed so the suite sleeps up to 4. Worth knowing if you have family with you.

Yes, convenient, clean. A little expensive/

It was a very pleasant experience. The concierge, Christian, was of great help. I was robbed by an automatic machine in one of the town's gas stations on a week end when the station (Q8) was closed and I was leaving on Sunday so there was no way I could make a claim to the station's distributor. The hotel gave me the missing funds and they were to collect the funds from the owner of the gas station. that is what we can call service. My wife had a heavy cold and they went our of their way to help her with infusion teas, medicines and making her feel better. Good service. The town lives of tourism so it shows that they understand the reason for their existence. Good attitude.

Great location cross the road from gorgeous beach

Posted Aug 10, 2016 on Orbitz
Pros: Location, location, location. Good service.
Cons: Air conditioning in our room was noisy and could not be controlled. Had it fixed, but then it broke down again just before we left.
Excellent location, beautiful beaches, nice boat or train rides to Portofino, 5Terre and other nearby villages. Plenty of shops and restaurants close by.
