Great hotel for Charleston visitors on a budget!

We were there for the Cooper River Bridge Run, so this hotel was great for our budget. It was close enough to the expo and the race shuttle, but far enough away from downtown to fit our finances. The desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean with hard floors and fresh paint on the walls. Sometimes nonsmoking rooms have that old smell of ancient smoke, but that wasn't a problem here.

Nice hotel located close to family

Overall nice hotel for the money. We were visiting our new grandbaby and was within a few miles from my sons home. Close to restaurants and shopping. Very convenient.

For the most part the stay was great. The only thing I didn't particularly like was when housekeeping came around once and I told them I was fine and then a second lady comes around with a bit of an attitude asking me the same thing as well as if I was checking out at that point in time. She then told me to put up the do not disturb sign if I didn't want anything, I wasn't sure where to put it, since I'm used to inserting it into the keycard slot, and she just snatched it from my hand, put it on the door, and walked away. Other than that the experience was okay. I just needed a nice clean place to stay while visiting my boyfriend at his base and that was provided.

Nice clean room

Location: Goose Creek, SC I went house hunting
The room was all I needed. It was clean. The main distraction was there was no sheer curtain to my only window next to the door. Anyone walking by could look right the room! Also, I couldn't use the frig freezer. No big deal there.

Great hotel for sound sleepers for a night

I have stayed here a few other times, so I remembered about the train being VERY close. I had forgotten that it runs about every 20 minutes. Had a few noisy neighbors and someone with an obnoxiously loud car that kept coming and going, but can't fault the hotel for that. If you are a light sleeper or are going to be staying more than a night or two, I'd think about a different hotel, but for the price, I got my money's worth in my opinion.
