Cabin experience, with Hotel accommodations

When looking for a weekend getaway in the mountains, my first thought was a cabin in the woods. It's actually harder to find than I thought. My family and I LOVED staying at Bluegreen resort cabins!!! It was the cabin and outdoor feeling that I wanted, but still felt like a hotel room inside, so my kids were comfortable as well. All the staff were extremely pleasant, the resort is absolutely gorgeous. There is literally so Much to do we couldn't fit it all into our one night stay. The views are amazing as well!!! I've already told all my friends about this resort, and booked out cabin for a few months down the road.

Unfriendly staff and no food available.

We have loved this location the past two times we've been. This time was a little different. The staff at the bar and the General Store were rude and didn't know too much about what was going on. There was No hot Food at the general store as advertised. The next morning the food bar was completely closed and there was no where to purchase breakfast on the entire resort. Even at the lodge the restaurant was Closed down due to people Calling in sick. We really would love to come back but are very hesitant considering our last stay. Rachel Walker

Beautiful resort! Lots of activities, pools, hot tubs, indoor pool, horse back rides, mini golf etc! Highly recommend!

The view of the lake and green rolling hills was beautiful. The bed was comfy and the townhouse was very spacious. The only issue was exterior maintenance.

Very nice lots to do, not many eating choices eating in lodge pricey, general store much better not open after 3pm unless you buy pizza, excellent person named deb . Peop l e at desk mot very helpful or friendly except for Ryan, also would like to be able to rent cabins as non member

Compound was big and had a LOT of amenities normally used for the Timeshare folks. Only ISSUE was the walls in the Lodge Rooms were paper thin and I heard entire conversations going on amongst families, even over top of the TV.

Nice hotel with great family amenities.

Pros: The cabins that made it feel more like home and less like a hotel.
The location was excellent with wonderful views. My grand daughters loved the horse back riding and pools. It was located close to Monticello and many other local attractions.

Awful!!! Experience!!!!

We arrived late at night, after being held for several minutes at there Gestapo like check point we proceeded to go down a winding dark road. Night staff checked us in and was polite and courteous. Remember we arrived late at night like at 1 am so we were running a little late. We asked the front desk for a late check out and they told us " NO you must leave at 10:30Am!!! " needless to say we didn't even get to take showers and they knew it and still made us leave!!!! Unacceptable!!! If I died tomorrow I would haunt this hotel and its morning staff!!!
