Gorizia: fine choice.
Room was quiet, clean, and staff were helpful and cheerful. We arrived at the same time as a Harley Davidson group that had cycled up from Rome! Things were a little chaotic at check in but staff worked hard and pulled things together.

Great location, near the center of town; near good restaurants and gelato stores!! Reasonably priced. Breakfast excellent with many choices and low price of 5 Euros; highly recommended! Room smallish but ok. Room was kind of warm, no a/c this time of year (October). Bed nice and firm. All in all a pretty good experience.

This is a comfortable and clean hotel in a good location. Breakfast is nice and worth the 5 EURO if not included. The staff was friendly and professional.

Great hotel
Very nice hotel with great location and free parking. Staff is friendly and happy to help with advices. Wi-Fi connection is great as well. Superior Room is good and with huge bed. Breakfast is awesome with a lot a choice for only 3€/guest. A swimming pool or spa would make it even better. To be recommended for sure in you make an Easter Europe - Western Europe trip!

Nice hotel in the middle of roadworks when we stop
Hotel is very clean and modern and room was comfortable with good wifi. Breakfast staff and layout was good. The issue we had was that the main road an path right outside the main door was being ripped up. Whilst the noise wasn't too bad trying to get in and out of the hotel was like trying to throw a six as you dodge men and machines, we had one occasion where we were met by an excavator within inches of the main door ripping up the path. No mention of this work was made when we were booking which is not right. Without him this work the hotel would be a good pick

Nice hotel
Reception was awesoem, they quickly offered us local sites to see. The parking garage was closed so we had to oay street parking which I thought should have been paid for by hotel since part of the reason for picking this hotel was free parking. The roos were very nice and clean. Breakfast was good.

Nice hotel with parking in downtown area
Excellent and clean rooms, balconies (when there) with nice view. I can also recommend to take the breakfast, it is excellent and inexpensive with very good coffee. No problem if you are with your car, the hotel has a parking, but be careful when entering and leaving it.

A good stay in Gorizia
We only spent one night at the Gorizia Palace and we had a pleasant stay. The room was simple, yet comfortable and clean. Our room was spacious and included tea/coffee making facilities, and the wifi in the room worked well. Parking on the street was reasonably easy to obtain. The location seemed to be good, with a nice pizza restaurant across the street, and nearby the town centre. Overall we had a good, yet short stay.

Lovely little town, great hotel
We stayed here for almost a week and didn't want to leave! Gorizia is a beautiful town, the people are open and friendly. There are lots of beautiful shops bars and restaurants to enjoy. It's half an hour from the beach and the mountains. The hotel is spotless, the breakfast varied and plentiful and the staff super efficient.

Good hotel in small town
We stayed at the BW as we were meeting up with friends who live in Gorizia. The customer service by Andrea was simply the best we have encountered during our European trip. The room was clean, comfortable, had tea & coffee making facilities, balcony, 1km from train station. Good quality & variety for breakfast buffet.

Good hotel in a small town
At our check-in Andrea was so helpful with all necessary information about the hotel as well as places to visit . On every other time we asked for information he was so good that I would have to say he has been the best in our 4 weeks in Europe. The hotel is convenient to all the places of interest in Gorizia being on the main road. As the town is small it is not noisy. Breakfast is good with a good variety for a small hotel.

Very friendly and helpful staff.
The staff made us feel very welcome and the hotel is in a nice central location. We were given the best breakfast we had received anywhere on our travels. The staff were able to help us in my language , which made the experience all the more pleasurable

Excellent hotel in city center of Gorizia
I liked this hotel. It is clean with spacious rooms with balconies, the staff is nice, the breakfast is excellent, and good restaurants and cafes are in walking distance. I can recommend it for both tourists and business people.

I like this hotel and use it as residence for both business and pleasure. The staff is nice, everything in down town area is in walking distance. Gorizia is an ideal place if you like mountains, vineyards, Adriatic Sea and European history.

The hotel is fantastic in every way. The staff at the front desk: Andreas, Boris and Daniela have gone above and beyond to make my stay a memorable one. Breakfast staff is wonderful, and the food is delicious.

I travel over 200 days per year. Being a Finnish businessman I appreciate good service and value for every penny I pay. I can warmly recommend this hotel. Breakfast was just fantastic, service was warm and cosy, yet efficient. Rooms were clean, well equipped with balkony to mountains. Maybe still missing some international tv channels but nevertheless, the view from the balcony compensated that well. Could consider also for Holiday resort as location is best possible at centre of small town Gorizia and mountains all around.

superb location, excellent staff and services, especially daily included breakfast. WIFI is a bit troublesome but not a deal breaker. Parking definitely an issue, very tight and confined parking lot, needs to improve. Overall would stay again, good value.

There were no deficits to this hotel for an overnight stay. The staff was extremely helpful, parking was secure, and the location was central to exploring the city. The room had all amenities and the breakfast was well done. This hotel is definitely a recommended stay.

Nice hotel, good size rooms (some smoking) and stylish. Would have scored more but during stay bar and restaurant closed. Used as base to explore area - easy to get to Udine, Trieste, Cividale and also into Slovenia

Considerate staff, quick to resolve issues
I had a few bureaucratic issues related to the hotel booking that the hotel staff were happy to fix. The hotel collects payment upon arrival, rather than pre-purchasing the hotel like other hotels on Hotels.com. As such, the price quoted on Hotels.com was different from the price being charged at the location, due to undisclosed city taxes, etc. during booking time. The hotel staff was friendly and worked with me to resolve the issue. When booking a hotel in Gorizia, it's a good idea to contact the hotels directly to determine the final price of the hotel, since Hotels.com is currently only able to reserve a room without providing the full price. I don't consider it Hotels.com's fault, though, since other booking websites were also only able to reserve rooms in Gorizia without being able to charge your card in advance.
