Nettes Hotel mit ausgezeichnetem Fitnessbereich

Posted Aug 8, 2016
Pros: Fitnessbereich, Pool, integrierter Pub,
Location: Galway, Cliffs of Moher

Hotel with a warm welcoming atmosphere

Posted Apr 20, 2016 on Hotels
A two night stay as a base for exploring the surrounding region. Staff were very friendly and welcoming despite being extremely busy as the hotel was the venue for a children's dancing competition during our stay. Saturday night music in the bar was very entertaining. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Swimming pool is a good size, 20m long with swim lanes. The only downside is limited weekend opening hours of leisure facilities - closing time was 7 pm and opening was 10am on Sunday morning. Week day hours are longer.

Pity about the "breakfast "

Posted Mar 22, 2016 on Hotels
The stay was good except for the breakfast which was very disappointing, no cereal bowls available, no fresh fruit or cold meat on offer and overall poor choices on offer .Breakfast was cold and had just one piece of bacon with cold scrambled egg. The service was also cold!!. No Gluten Free cereal options after requesting same except just two tiny slices of GF bread. The non GF "toasted" bread must have been in the toaster for all of 20 /30 seconds---not enough to get it warm !!. The less said about breakfast, the better. It beggars belief that a hotel which provided an excellent dinner on the previous evening could also offer such a poor breakfast.

About 30 min from Galway. Good base for sightseeing up towards Atlantic way or down motorway to Limerick. About 25min from Shannon airport, 1'45 from Knock airport. Gallery Cafe in Gort worth a visit
