Nasty Hotel

Posted Jun 22, 2016
Room has never been cleaned properly. You don't want to take off your socks. There is no way this is a 3 star. Maybe a 1 star at best. Quite frightening. Over priced. Not recommended. Staff was pleasant.

Liked the outdoor area with the pool and think that with a sunny day it would have been very nice

Apple Hotel stay June 2015

Posted Jun 20, 2015 on Hotels
This hotel is easily accessed from the E20 motorway just north of Gothenburg. We were met in reception by Anna who was very friendly and helpful. The room was a good enough size for myself, my wife and our 3 year old. The third bed was attached to the wall and had to be pulled down from it. We pushed one of the other beds up against it to ensure our little boy didn't fall out in the night. We did the mistake of opening our windows, as it was pretty warm in the room. This was a mistake because the people who had the room on the ground floor just below us were outside smoking. The free WiFi was wonky at best. Getting a connection was difficult and once achieved it would drop out within a minute or so. The breakfast buffet had a good enough choice and there was also a free evening buffet which we never got the chance to sample. Getting in to Gothenburg itself is easy enough. There is a tram stop about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The stop is called Kaggeledstorget and there are two tram lines that service it. Tram line # 1 will take you the quickest route in to Gothenburg centre. If you want to go to the amusement park Liseberg tram line # 5 will take you there quickest. You can buy a 1 or a 3 day tourist card from the Coop about 15 minutes’ walk from the hotel.

Solid hotel on outskirts of Gothenburg

Posted May 11, 2015 on Hotels
Staff was very friendly! On the outskirts of the city but a quick (15min) tram ride to Brunnspark and the center of the city. Breakfast and dinner was included so that will save money on meals if that is a concern. Pool area was closed (early May) but looks great when the weather was better
