Nice hotel close to the action.

Friendly staff and nice accommodations. We were there the day after the terrorist attacks. The hotel had great security so we were able to relax.

I expected better based on previous reviews

Pros: Staff was very nice and made great restaurant recommendations.
Cons: Makeover.
Location: You're steps away from the over-crowded Las Ramblas. Once you get into the side streets it's a lot less crowded. Easy walk to everything.
Room was small and tired. Could use an update. Hallway was dark and musty. If you like being in the heart of tourism then the location is great. I would not stay there again.

Terrible Barcelona hotel for a high price

The hotel is run down and the service is horrible. We had a do not disrurb sign on our door and house keep kept calling to ask us when we wanted the room cleaned! Brekfast was a joke I guess because it was included in the package. It short, don't stay at this hotel.

Renovated rooms, very spacious suits, very trendy and comfy designs, a little bit noise since we were on the first floor but overall was a great experience

One night

Was just for the night. On the 1st floor so there wasn't a view, only rocks. Didn't expect much of a view but flowers instead of rocks would be nice. Told them as we checked in not to waste a good view on us since we were only there the night. The bed was amazing!!!!! Room was very clean and staff was extremely nice and helpful.

Not a 5-star hotel any longer

Great location for those who want to be close to La Rambla and the Old city, but hotel facilities are old and shabby. The lobby is small and resembles a 3-star city hotel; it gets crowded during the checkin/checkout time.
