Close to beach and shopping area

The hotel location is good, the treatment from the staff needs a lot of improvement. I believe the waiters, waitresses and bar tenders do not care to serve with care because the tip is included on the bill so no matter what they will get tip. The food is not good there especially the beach house restaurant so one needs to go out to eat. The front desk ladies do not assist you with tours,hotel amenities or events info you need to look for it on your own.

Hi, we are sorry to hear about these comments, since we get terrific reviews, especially for the Beach House restaurant Kitchen 218 which is one of the top-rated restaurants in Turks & Caicos. Our front desk does help with tours and activities, in fact, Caicos Dream Tours operates their tours from the beach dock at our lobby. Sorry that this did not meet your expectations.

Employees take too long getting anything done, nice people but service is horrible in an 85 degree humid island it takes 15 mins to get any drink oh and you need to ask for ice, especially when the hotel is empty,. Not much to do like other places.

In fact, the hotel has been running very full and not empty, and we do have plenty of ice and drinks at the bars, restaurants as well as in-room refrigerators stocked with water, soft drinks and beer for our all-inclusive guests.

Fantastic Value in Turks & Caicos

We absolutely loved Alexandra. The staff was amazing and one of the big things for us was being able to use all of the water equipment for free. We used the paddle boards everyday and the snorkel gear, the sail boats, it was a huge value that's included in any package. The customer service was outstanding. Any problem was resolved quickly and efficiently. We were worried about booking here because the rate seemed a lot lower than others on Grace Bay but we actually thought the resort was way better than some of the nearby resorts that were double the price and on the same beach! We would highly recommend Alexandra. A beautiful, clean, safe resort in the heart of Grace Bay.

Loved the beach!

The hotel staff is very helpful! The beach was great! The lounges and umbrellas were always set up and available to use. The overall location of the resort worked for our needs. Very easy to get a taxi to get around town! We would walk daily into the shopping area for breakfast at Turkberry and Lemon 2 Go. We enjoyed walking to Somewhere on the beach for lunch and Mr. Groupers. Conch Shack is worth the taxi ride! Bella Luna has great pizzas! Take the shuttle for the Fish Fry on Thursdays. Brunch at the Golf course on Sunday's is very god and a great deal on the island. Lunch at the resort is also good and many options! The drinks are great! The room was clean and updated! The half day snorkeling trip was enjoyable and the hut is right next to the resort.

Great room, terrible restaurant!

Our room was great and the water was amazing. Sadly, we weren't all inclusive and so we were treated like second class citizens by the restaurant staff. Avoid the restaurant at all costs, but everything else was good.

Close to beach and pool

The grounds and rooms were very well maintained. Enjoyed our access to the pool and beach. Beautiful view from our room. Was disappointed with the dining staff. Was very very slow and not very friendly. It took 1/2 hour to get our check/bill.

Great hotel, well kept

We loved the views at this resort. The beach was very clean. The staff was friendly. The room was spacious. The bartenders were great, especially Deon. We had a great time and would definitely recommend the resort. There could be more food options.

Great views in beachfront

Used this resort to access beautiful Grace Bay. Nicely located for exploring many parts of the island. Staff very nice. Resort feels alive.

Great location!

Pros: The location. It is perfectly located on Grace Bay.
Cons: Communication between the sister properties. The shuttle is not exact. It was not explained that you need a reservation for a beach chair.

Great location and Price

Has a great beachfront location between Beaches and Regent Palms. Excellent view from 1 bedroom oceanfront room. Resort grounds well groomed. Cons would be the braclet you have to wear at all times and $150 fee if it gets lost. Also fridge and dishwasher were leaky. Overall lovey stay with very friendly staff.

We appreciate your review. The wristbands are for the safety and security of all our guests and to identify all-inclusive guests and they should really never get lost. (In fact, we have to cut them off upon departure). We charge a "lost fee" to prevent any shenanigans with the sharing or selling of wristbands in the interest of the safety of our guests.
